Kog45: Any player trying to cause disaffection in camp should be sent home and replaced ASAP.
What a hell with Onazi saying such rubbish to the press, meaning he has beef with some guys in the team.
I watched the match again yesterday Onazi was damn too poor, running all over and doing nothing. I have always told you guys that Onazi boy shouldn't be playing for Nigeria anymore, age has caught up with him, dude has passed his prime, he peaked as far back as 2013 through 2014. Now he's looking for who to go down with. Someone who knows Onazi well, who grew up in the same hood with him said Onazi is not any less than 35. The potbelly you are seeing has nothing to do with lack of proper training, its just old age taking its toll. That guy will sack Rohr like Agbim, Ruben and Co sacked Keshi. |

safarigirl: can we compare his endorsements to Dele Alli's who chose England and is having a considerably 'better' career? Dele Alli is an English player so also is Tammy, Welbeck , Sturridge etc I doubt Alli, Lingard and Co, presently have better endorsements. You can prove me wrong |

tbaba1234: I was speaking with one of my friends who watched the game in Wembley. This is his verdict:
"Onazi is the laziest DM I've seen. Watching him in the stadium convinced me even more. The camera even hides most of his flaws. His positioning off the ball is terrible!!!
He's either over aged, unfit, or both... He's been awful for Nigeria since South Africa friendly
And Joel Obi is gone... He'll struggle to impose himself in a Sunday league game.
Oh... Didn't know about dropping Ola Aina and Agu... Agu is another terrible player. I wonder how he even gets called up
i'm quite optimistic about our chances though. The goal keeper is improving with every game" The bolded is coming from someone who saw it live. Chai so the camera hid some of Onazi's bleeps |

Triniti: uchebo hardly had game time in an obscure league out there in Europe, was not in form when he was picked by keshi, you can’t say the same thing about Simy I said I was having the feeling he might turn out to be another Uchebo. I didn't say his case is similar to Uchebo's. Spot the difference. We all can feel which ever way about something but it doesnt make it a fact neither does it change anything |

Anyone noticed Uzoho kicks effectively with both foot even though his services needs more sharpening so that he can be able to pick his man with those kicks and kick it further past the half way line?
Thats a plus for the Nwangele boy |

Icon4s: So then don't criticise those calling for the inclusion of Ajagun, K. Nwakali and Kayode. But im pro kayode and Nwakali and I was sad Lokosa was picked ahead of Larry. About Nwakali, he offers what the our midfield lacks now, why should I criticise his admirers. How ever u wanna put it man, Okey Azu is head and shoulders ahead of Onazi. |

I don't know why I'm not really comfortable with Simmy's selection. I just feel he hasn't really done enough to deserve that selection. I have this feeling he might turn out to be another Uchebo.
I just hope I'm being scared unnecessarily especially as I'm not a fan of Ighalo sha |

Icon79: Bros, take it easy. Mikel Agu and Ola Aina were bound to be the two players dropped. I predicted the same after the DR Congo friendly. Ola Aina may be a good player but, for some reasons, he hasn't really taken the opportunities he's been given to show that he's a big upgrade over Echiejile. I don't like Echijile either but Aina certainly didn't help his cause. Under that circumstance, it would be silly for Rohr to drop Elderson who played in all the qualifiers for the inexperienced Aina.
Echiejile has been criticized for years in Super Eagles, yet he has never let the team down at major tournaments. His experience would be vital in a team with a 19year old keeper, plus none of the other defenders has ever played at the World Cup level. Listen guys, I am actually very glad that most of you are not making these decisions for the Super Eagles.
O pari Off point. Maybe u didn't get the question. Since he is a natural RB, why wasn't he given any opportunity in our RB position to see what he can do, in his stead, why did Rohr prefer a make shift RB (Shehu)? |

Why do you derive joy in lying against people. You started by lying I was clamoring for Onazi and he is my best midfielder. Now you are lying I made mockery of Uzoho. nextlevel2222: Why Aina should fight for LB again? Why not fight for RB the position he plays at his club. Then if it didn't perform we can easily drop him. Rohr should scout for another LB to slug it out with Idowu not Aina again This is too hard for them to understand. Bunch of ingrates. Aina's treatment was nothing but sheer wickedness and deceit. We all know the truth but trynna eschew it, one of the baits used to lure Aina was the worldcup, now he wasn't given a better judgement. How do you want the poor boy to feel about the system now? God!! Southgate will have a field day |

Uzoho 5 caps 5 goals conceded and should have been 7 with AVR.
I wish the young man a good outing at WC. Lol I am Happy u didn't make a nail out of the post. Seriously Uzoho ain't there yet but the talent is there. We wish him and the entire team well even though I dont agree with some of the selections. Lesson for u guys ; stop talking on other players when ur so called precious ones ain't any better. Thanks for ur understanding but I hope to still come back to hammer you after the World Cup because I want the team and Uzoho to do better so that when I will be hammering u, there wouldn't be any hiding place. Humility017: Bro....I have reduced my expectation on this team..... let it know.....that the coaches poor judgement cost us should we fail @ the mundial.....
the kind of coach rohr is....is a kind of manager that will see club all through from championship to the epl and refuse to get in New players into his squad all because of loyalty...he will stick to the old boys who brought the club out from relegation...even when some of them have lost it...and that will eventually cost him his job.....
I just feel for him...probably these was abit reasons why he has never been too successful as a manager....and even the Nigeria coaches working with him have little reasonable input. That's the reason I said those singing his praises for dropping Aina for Shehu instead of shifting Shehu to the middle to drop either Onazi or Joel, should watch it, because I will come for them. Lol and TheGoodJoe said I was rejoicing over Shehu's failure? smh |

He didn't struggle enough for the RB position and messed up in the LB position

TheGoodJoe: Keep in mind, Rohr was in camp with Aina and Shehu was pulling off repeated good performances, earning a man of the match on one.
If Rohr preferred both Ebuehi and Shehu for his RB role, the only opportunity left for Aina was to slug it out in the LB role. I doubt Rohr was being unfair to the young Nigerian star. Same Rohr was also in camp with Joel and Onazi, innit? I just hope ain't much to this than meets the eye even though I felt disappointed by his omission |
