As for this Olise, he has been approached by Rohr and even named to a standby list yet nothing. So don't hold out too much hope on him unless he comes out himself and truly confirms he has chosen Nigeria.

You guys really need to check your expectations on some lads who has shown they don't want you. Until they confirm they have chosen us, let them rest.

Now he is here masturbating over an Olise news that hasn't been confirmed while he doesn't even pay heed to the talents "truly and already" available to us. He pays more heed to unconfirmed speculations and a lad who is probably using Nigeria again to force either of France's or England's hands. If he eventually plays for us, fine but right now, it doesn't look like it. It's probabaly like Matip all over again although on a smaller scale right now.

Every scouting report I have read on Ishaq up until yesterday had good and glowing things to say about the boy which validates my own report but no.... according to one Olise-masturbator in here, the boy is nothing special. I laugh.

Naija Talents Watch: Ozor Okeke, 15-16yrs

One of the lads expected to fly Nigeria's flag in Ghana at the Wafu B U17 Afcon Qualifiers tournament.

Like already mentioned in my U17 Players to watch at the WafuB, he's a young Midfield Dynamo from Triple44 Football Academy, based in Ibadan.

Same academy produced Peter Olawale of the last U17 class (2019) who is now at Hapoel R'anana in Israel and Emmanuel Adeyemo who is at FC Vizela.

Ozor Okeke is expected to be the team's conductor and driving force through the middle. More will be seen from him as from this weekend in Ghana.

I agree he is older than U-21. But Ibrahim Yahaya isn't even among our most exciting prospects in this U20 team.


The most exciting are:

- Daniel Daga (#13)

- The two remo stars youngsters, left back Lekan Oyedele (#20) and Winger/MF Tolulope Ojo (#17).

- The GK, Nathaniel Nwosu.

- The RB, Augustine Njoku

- Ahmed Abdullahi (who scored the second goal vs Ghana before injury in the 2nd game affected his time at this tournament)

- And CB, Tosin Adegbite (the skipper)

And maybe the #11, Ibrahim Muhammed.


The beauty of this is the best among them look like truly young lads. Now that's where I would rather focus on than on Yahaya.

That lad, Tolulope Ojo has got some moves. Brilliant performance from him today. Chose the biggest occasion in the region to shine brightest.

Hasn't scored since round 1 but did so twice today. Has been impressive playing from the right from previous games.

A fine talent.

I strongly disagree. He is actually a mix of brawn and brain right now. Brutal in Physical battles but also carries a lovely technical touch.

His Vision in the long pass is top notch. His tactical awareness when joining the attack and falling back when needed is also very decent.

He is still young and prone to a few bloopers here or there but lad is the real deal and dropped a display worthy of a textbook reference for young and upcoming defenders.

Calvin Bassey is a beast and he has what it takes to be in the first XI of any team in Europe.
