I'm of the opinion that the recent tactics employed by Louis van Gaal will make top players reject moves to Manchester United because the way I see it, there are not many wingbacks in the world of football right now. Center backs used to the three back system are also few. These guys may dread playing out of position or adapting to an alien system.

Louis van Gaal is after the likes of Gareth Bale but I don't see where he will really fit in, considering we have Angel di Maria already out of position, Nani and Wilfried Zaha still in the equation, Luke Shaw and Rafael da Silva losing faith, among so many other factors.

I'm not too sure defenders like Hummels, Otamendi or Varane not used to a back three pattern will like to make the switch if system remain constant.

I believe negotiation with the said player solves that.

Despite winning as a result of d change to d 4-4-2 formation ,d united boss still remained adamant dat d 3-5-2 formation is d best formation for united ,he sighted d first half of d match against Tottenham where united created a lot of chances but couldn't finish, saying dat when he switches to a 4 man defense ,his team loses its balance n it allows d opponents to create more chances since he doesn't hv d players to fit in d formation. Despite d fans shouting "4-4-2" towards LVG ,he still believes dat d 3-5-2 formation is good for d team.

Cos 3-5-2 is effective against teams that don't park the bus.
