I believe that 3-5-2 gives us disjointed performances & the core of the team isn't comfortable with it despite the fact we have managed to concede less.

if its bringing the points, no wahala. but I think with time fans will start demanding fluid football if this 3-5-2 doesn't deliver it with the results.

I have not read the article. I doubt if dailymail will mention 'hyena'. That hyena stuff made it debatable.

I will try and read it later. Let me understand what they are saying.

How does this not make him an hyena? You have much to learn about this distance covered stat.

1. RVP has played the most minutes, apart from DDG.

2. It doesn't mean he moves (walk, jog, run) across wide area of the pitch. Hit map shows even Falcao covers more area per match. RVP is an hyena because he doesn't hunt. His activities are around the meal table (opposition goal area). Although he has improved so much now.

3. A player can even cover most distance without using much energy and involving in play activities. After all even pot belly referees cover more distance than players.

4. You really need to dig deep to understand distance covered stat. Some analysts start by counting the number of spints, chasing an opponent back, etc. For instance, Sterling and Sanchez have the highest sprints in matches. I will find time to go into details.
