The rules do not specify that a player needs to be touched for an opponent to commit a reckless act. The actions of the goalkeeper meant that it was a penalty.”

how did rooney fail to read the flight of this ball. this pass travelled about 40 yards - rooney should be connecting with this pass before it gets to the goalie.

You are saying that a player with the highest back passes in the league should play in the midfield. This is the same reason why Cleverly never improved our game and most fans said he should be sold.

LVG should be using Rooney and Wilson to pair either RVP or Falcao and if the two top 9s are not available he should pair Rooney and Wilson instead of pairing Di Maria upfront. Fellaini should feature upfront for tactical change only.
