Lol! Satirically funny but true |
Tolexander:Who did you think Igbos voted for during Abiola vs Tofa? Who did Igbos vote for during Obasanjo vs Buhari? The records are here online |
This old post is a reminder of what reason the SAs give for xenophobia in 2019. Some Nigerians in SA must share in the blame. |
Lol he was actually born in Nigeria by Greek parents. His Nigerian name is oyenuga |
He says Ibo man is everywhere in the world except in Somalia. Lol |
DikeOha882:It's a tiny strip of land that connects Anambra, Enugu, Imo and Abia, almost unnoticeable in a map

Ayoola goes to "school". Interesting. |
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency have arrested a South African based grocer with 3.920kg of substances found to be methamphetamine. The drug was concealed in false bottom of two bags he wanted to check-in at the departure hall. The arrest took place during outward screening of passengers on Ethiopian airline flight to South Africa. The Ayoola Ayodeji Adebayo who holds a Higher National Diploma in Estate Management at Osun State College of Technology in 2006 said that he made a mistake getting involved in drug trafficking. “I am a grocer in Pretoria. I have lived in South Africa for over three years. I am married with two children. My friend in Pretoria asked me to bring two bags to him. He bought my return ticket and gave me one hundred and fifty thousand naira. I thought the drug would not be detected because it was neatly concealed. This is a big mistake on my part because I have sustained my family with the grocery business. It will not happen again if I can get out of this problem.” Ayoola said NDLEA Chairman, Ahmadu Giade said the agency has put in-place devices that can detect drugs hidden in the most unsuspecting places. “This is in preparation for anticipated increase in drug trafficking at the airports, land borders and seaports towards the end of the year. The arrest of Ayoola whose drug was neatly concealed is an indication that more drugs shall be detected” Giade stated. The suspect will appear in court soon. http://www.homelandnewsng.com/other-news/1998-south-african-based-nigerian-arrested-drugs

Buhahaha! Nigeria's loss her gain. |
In her role at the World Bank, Ms. Oteh will manage and lead a large and diverse team responsible for managing more than $150 billion in assets. http://www.worldbank.org/en/news/press-release/2015/07/24/nigerian-national-arunma-oten-world-bank-treasurer |
ki02020:You are brainless. You have not been able to secure yourself and you are attempting to secure others. Wait until ISIS visits you from your incredibly porous boarders. |
Did anyone notice the uncountable gbagauns (grammatical errors) in the article? The author is an Oduduwa guy called Dayo. Vanguard has sunk very low in its erstwhile superb delivery since employing the red roof "shofisticated" ones. ![]() |
Dumb move by Dumbohari. You have not finished solving your own Boko Haram (BH) problem, you are taking panadol for another person's headache. ISIL will soon send its people to join BH in wiping out northern Nigeria. |
abagoro:But can you explain though why Igbos are apathetic towards investing in Igboland? At first they said it is about location/market. But note that 20 years ago there was no market in Dubai, but today all roads globally lead to Dubai markets. |
egift:And you think the last administration just looted the treasury without also going away with incriminating dossiers against previous govt, including Buhari's PTF? You hope that the past govt will stand in the dock and not implicate past ones with incriminating information at their disposal? I do not think it is far back in history to probe the 3 most recent past administrations. If you think so, then you are doing a charade. |
asha80:It is an extension of the general Igbo problem: lack of will to invest in your own land. |
chukwudi44:Your head dey there. Femi is a non achiever |
Re: Femi Gbajabiamila's First Day At Work (Photos)At work ke! How important is this his position? President VP SP DSP HS DHS These are the koko positions All these house leader blah blah blah na second class for national leadership ![]() |
pharmagba:I have already said that the last administration should be probed. But so should the other 2 democratic govts too. Obasanjo's govt was by all means more corrupt than GEJ's. Plus, are you by any means suggesting that the state past govts should be allowed to go home free? |
Speaking about past military regimes, Abacha has somehow been probed to an extent by Obasanjo; a lot of Abacha's loot was recovered. The only military big fish left is IBB, and may be Abubakar. I believe the military regimes of Obasanjo and Buhari were by far less corrupt. than those after them. Generally speaking, the military leaders were accountable to no one. They risked their lives and hussled themselves into power; no one voted for them. On that note they no ''owe'' anybody (so to speak) |
In the spirit of fairness, justice and democratic accountability, Buhari's probe should extend to the civilian regimes of Obasanjo, Yaradua and Jonathan. We can ''forgive'' the military regimes before Obasanjo (that is, pre-1999) as we did not elect them into power (painful, but what choice do we have as Buhari himself was a former military leader; so I guess he cannot probe himself). So Obasanjo, Yaradua (should be raised from the dead to answer questions ) and Jonathan should be probed. Then Buhari should be ready to be probed after his own regime. This is good for democracy. BTW, we should also probe the leadership of the Senate and House during these civilian regimes, as well as all past State governors (most of these governors are the worst criminals in Nigeria) |
Binta Bello as Deputy Minority Whip.Is this not a Yoruba name? How did PDP sideline the Yoruba here? |
tim1256: |
tim1256:You sound poor and pathetic. |
Ojiofor:They could have, if they were serious about it. It appeared that they paid only lip service to it and was not even sure that their principal would give a good debate either. For instance, they could have gone ahead and presented GEJ in a debate and let him wait for Buhari for a few minutes and then go ahead and debate himself if Buhari does not show up, listing all the positives he has achieved and then telling the country that Buhari failed to show up because he had nothing to debate about. That would have shamed APC into agreeing to a new round of debate |
Ojiofor:That was due to the stupidity of PDP. Their publicity department sucked; they were the party in power yet could not get their opponent to come for a debate. How then can they do so now that Buhari is in power? Stupid APC, even more stupid PDP. |
