At about 10:58pm yesterday, my dog barked just once, i was surprised because i just left the sitting room. I woke up this morning to see this long black snake lying dead in my sitting room outside door.
My dog couldn't stand up nor eat. But i have taken her to my vet doctor for treatment.
Please what is the name of this snake and does it have deadly venom?

Please, bed bug is actually one of my greatest fear growing up. I can't just imagine having it in my room back then due to people experiences... The shame, if it follows me outside. Following received information from well meaning members of the public, troops of Forward Operation Base, Ningi of 33 Artillery Brigade conducted a fighting patrol at Dutsen Dumburum, Ningi Local Government Area, Bauchi State on Saturday.
Earlier intelligence reports confirmed the presence of kidnappers and cattle rustlers in the locality, which made the troops to swing into action by organizing a fighting patrol to the area.

During the patrol, the team encountered the armed bandits and after fierce exchange of gun fire, they were overpowered.
The troops killed three of the armed bandits and rescued three kidnapped females held hostages by the bandits pending payment of ransom.

The patrol team also recovered many items, including arms and ammunitions before destroying the camp.

The recovered items included two AK-47 rifles, two locally made Small Machine Guns, one Double-barrelled Dane Gun, 68 rounds of 7.62mm (Special) ammunitions and four AK-47 rifle Magazines.

Others included two Boxer Motorcycles and two mobile telephone handsets.

resident Muhammadu Buhari has forwarded a list of
his ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for
screening and confirmation.
The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, read the President’s
letter at plennary on Thursday.
According to him, the list comprises of 47 nominees who
are “career diplomats”. They will be posted to the nation’s
Missions abroad upon confirmation.
The Senate is however yet to fix date for the screening and
subsequent confirmation of the nominees.
It would be recalled that President Buhari, recalled the
Ambassadors on assumption of office last year.
