Yoruba's r scared of witchcraft so dey don't wanna go home n build.
Their pastors ain't helping matters too.
All they know about is anti witchcraft teachings.....die die die. burn burn burn.
Y do you then think they will see beyond their noses n then prosper?

Even their Nollywood movies depict the same.

A typical Yoruba man cannot trust you enough to eat ur food.
How do u think he will trust u to interact with u for progress?
...you've said it all sis!

Try harder dude. Until Anambra or any of its major cities start getting mentioned in the same breathe as Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Kano, your postulations will remain but mere hype. As it stands, I reckon that even Enugu, Ibadan, and Calabar rank higher in renown and importance Nationally than Anambra or any of her cities. That is the truth. Though I will acknowledge that you Anambra fans are doing a heck of a job trying to sell/market/rebrand the state owing to Obiano's commendable efforts, but y'all really have your work cut out.
you are right though... No qualms

Yinmu. There's nothing to hate about Anambra. The state is all hype and nothing more. And I don't care whether you are from that big traders state or not. For all the noise you all make about Anambra, pray tell why even Ebonyi of all states generates more IGR than that over hyped market state? Where does Anambra rank on the GDP scale? How important is the state economically to the FG? How much does it contribute to the National commonwealth? These are the indices that determine the value of a state to the federation, not over hyped news of Obiano commissioning a flyoverhuh? Anambra was so important the FG would not have called iPod's bluff when they shut down Onitsha in protest recently. Besides Onitsha, what else is in Anambra? Nnewi is living on old glory. Fvck the hype.
please visit anambra to clarify your doubts. After Lagos in Nigeria, anambra is the next cosmopolitan state...
Obiano as a governor is performing tremendously that not even Ambode can be compared with him for now, is like you don't know that anambra state has a large crude oil and gas reserve that the states governor is trying to harness currently building oil rigs and other facilities in that regard...
In terms of IGR, corruption and misappropriation has really made the state to large behind, but today Obiano's govt is fixing that anomaly, I hope he achieves it...

Lol. Your bad-belle will not change the fact that Lagos is in SW Nigeria, and that Ogun is now the industrial hub of Nigeria. You can hype Anambra from today till tomorrow but that won't change the fact that it is a glorified village peopled by illiterate traders and wannabes.
hahaha... E PAIN AM!! I am not even from Anambra, just stating the obvious...
As for ndianambra being illiterate, this conspicuously shows that you know nothing about that state, check the recent rating, achievements by states in education; anambra leads... The state has produced scholars, academics and academia of reputable characters. Worthy of note is the first Nigerian Vice chancellor of that university at Ibadan is from that state in person of Kenneth Dike...
Politics › Re: The Six Geographical Regions Of Nigeria In Order Of Development. by christejames(m): 8:51pm On Jan 02, 2016
Remove Lagos from South west, its a 'federal territory' for everyone. If Lag is finally removed watch as the whole south west would be comparable to the North east, (if not less developed than the NE).
...as for Ogun being the industrial state of the country, it's a big fallacy; pure water industries and other small scale and cottage industries are not counted as heavy industries that generate bulky income, if I'm lying ask Anambra state whether they were part of the 'snitches' that converged at Aso rock begging for fund comically termed 'bailout fund'... The SW provide bulk of those leeches.
...as for having the first institution, its on record that UNN is the first indigenous and autonomous university in the country.
...most of the things that you are claiming in the SW where provided by the whites; foreigner. And since they left the shore of this country and handed governance to you guys, the infrastructures which they created (that you are claiming) are now in deplorable conditions and still deteriorating... **pukes***

Beauty of which place actually?

Beauty of five uncompleted houses? grin

its well wink
...have you ever been to Nsukka before?
Those pictures depict houses sited on hills and valleys, and also a developing area of NSK (i.e. Obukpa layout and Olivet hill sides ) which is growing and sprawling to form a conurbation of a greater Nsukka urban area.
The main urban area of NSK (which we call town) is far from where those pix were snapped.
Nsukka is fast developing, and as he said the 'forest' or lush vegetation also adds beautiful to the town.

When the country is still grappling and stuggling to provide common potable water to her teeming population you are talking about a grandeur project like that flyover ...our leaders have really killed this country, it seems we are just stagnant whereas most countries of the world that we started nationhood with have all gone beyond development. I cry for my country each time I see project like that...

I really need to see photos of Nsukka urban.
I actually took some pictures of some part of the town when I went strolling and sightseeing, although most of the pictures I have deleted. there interesting places that I was startled about it being in Nsukka with my mouth agape I forget to take pictures in those places. only taking pictures of places that are calm when I finally remembers to pull my phone from my pocket... you can manage this ones that I still have, this place is located on another escarpment west of that of Carmelite...

the place is located on a hill (escarpment), climbing it with your foot is very tiring and stressful unless you are with a vehicle or motorcycle on full throttle... that place is really serene. On it, you will have a panoramic and vista view is the developing conurbation and sprawl of NSK around Obukpa.

Education › Re: 25 Catastrophic Scenarios That Would Take Place If The Earth Stopped Spinning by christejames(m): 2:24pm On Dec 17, 2015
Interesting to know... As a geographer I can relate to most of it. Knowledge about our planet is what everyone needs to know to clear most doubts and misconceptions we have about the earth, especially why we are on it. Africa as a continent really need to acquaint and avail itself of the opportunities therein in the knowledge about the earth to stop attributing any eventual occurrence to a deity and open our environment for development...
