You talk about the iguana after falling from a tree would node his head to commend himself when no one wants to... Mr Rascal, you have you have performed tremendously well this past years but blaming your inefficiency lately to pay salaries on allocation. All this while that you have been performing why havnt you devised another way to increase the IGR of the state in stead of frolicking around in the your irrelevant chopper... Why don't you sell and other grandiose projects (like the tallest 'talking' drum of Guinness book) to increase the IGR of our dear 'impoverished' state by youhuh

When they were insulting GEJ and using derogatory and defamatory comments on him, where were you? ...possibly sipping 'kunu' with your 'patriotism' locked in your inner cupboard. But today, your purported gentle president is now on seat you quickly went and unlock and dust your 'patriotism' from the cupboard... Bro! HYPOCRISY is worst!!!

Back to the topic: I think it would have been better for ASUU to wait for the incoming government. Table your grievances to them and resort to a dialogue.

I don't even think the Fed Govt will give them a listening ear...*in NOI voice* "The Economy is Bad"

LOL at the bolded. Many airports in northern Nigeria are only used by the private jets of their state governor to fly to Abuja. Imagine the colossal waste of billions which could have been used to better peoples lives sunk into a such a useless which project nobody uses? grin grin grin grin grin grin

I just love how people think building airports in every town is a type of development.
Without asking themselves which airlines would go there, which people will book the air tickets. Just Nigerians and their mentality.
there can still have aerodrome for private jets and other commercial airline not necessarily an airport. Many international scholars that visit UNN often, won't experience the stress and pang of our bumpy roads and would made the journey smooth and faster. You can't compare the standard of living or per capita income of those in the north to the east. If we have such facility here, I know even the market women would afford the fare to shuttle between Enugu and Nsukka. Wow! Let me stop pulling our legs biko... I only replied the chap in a sarcastic way, I know building such project would gulp fortune and might even end up a grandiose or white elephant project. Thanks bro, still learning from you all!

Its not only in UI medical centre but most govt hospitals across the country are being neglected by this so called medic leaving the situation in most of these hospitals deteriorating... I weep for my country because of the kind of people she has as citizens. RIP to the deceased.

Bro what is the distance from Enugu to Nsukka, i mean how many hours journey by road (or flight) lol.
approximately one hour if your car was fast enough but 1hr 30mins, if your car was quite slow. As for the flight, there is no airport or aerodrome at Nsukka presently but in no distance time we would have one in this zone... LOL!

So now you are fully residing at 042 the city is beautiful sometimes i wonder what else the new governor will do even nsukka his place chime build first class roads with street lights there already.

You are free to show us more pictures of coal city cheesy
thanks for ur comment. Enugu city is unarguably one of the most beautiful cities in the country today but what really cracked me up is the 'first class road in Nsukka' (LOL!). ...is it thesame Nsukka that I'm in now, or you are talking about another major town in Nsukka zone (which I vehemently doubt). Nsukka town is a beautiful emerging urban area in dearth of 'first class' or good road as you postulated and poor town planning. The town is wearing a new look though (thanks to the wealthy individuals investing here) with beautiful edifice and mansions, large block of flats, supermarkets et al sprung and still springing up in this sprawling town. Although the local govt of the town is trying its best but they really need to be strengthened. For example, The govt (LGA) has built a large new modern market at Aku road, refurbishing and expanding the main market (Ogige), the waste management is quite commendable. We ain't feeling much of the state's govt presence here apart from the new kia rio cars (the type in Enugu) being driven around town by the local govt police. The town is rapidly growing in property and commercial busines ...i'm using this medium to woo investors to the town especially to the new modern market, I bet you the reward for your money would be beyond your expectation.

The local content bill made it difficult for any expatriate company to function effectively here; one of the greatest achievements of OBJ. Now what the expatriates do is to register the company as a Nigerian company, integrate Nigerians into the Board and even (sometimes) sell shares to the Nigerian public: although they still retain the majority stake/shares in the company.
wow! Thanks Mazi!! I have really learnt something today.
