To be honest with u the course sounds good but you need proper guidance on the step to take. I advise you to go through the linkedIn platform n search for professionals in the same area for proper guidance n mentorship. I know of a guy on LinkedIn that has masters in the same field, highly skilled in robotics n currently working in a reputable company overseas. He is a Nigerian n person I have work with.
How can I access him. For guudance

Ignore this once telling you it's a useless course. Every course is useless as far as you don't work hard. For asking this question, you're already on the right track. I studied mechanical engineering and produced a carbon fiber car as final year project. An engineer is not supposed to look work for cos you have the knowledge to start any business you want. My advice, Join any of the Cisco programs and start from there.

Mechatronics is one of the best course to study

Education / 2 Things President Buhari Should Do To Help Student As ASUU Strike Lingers On by Christology(m): 11:10am On Dec 15, 2020
Opinion: 2 Things President Muhammadu Buhari Should Do To Help Student As ASUU Strike Lingers On.

Its no longer news in Nigeria that students of higher institutions have been at home since march 2020, owning to the failure of the Academic staff union of universities (ASUU) and the federal government to come to an agreement to bring the 8 month old strike to an end.

The Academic staff union of universities embarked on the strike to demand the attention of the federal government to several issues such as salary payment platform, lack of visitation panels, issue of promotion, revitalisation funds for universities, poor learning conditions in federal government owned universities and stagnation of salaries.

Series of attempt by the federal government to come to an agreement with ASUU have been meet with a stiff resistance by the association, leaving the students at there own fate.

The quest to survive the hard times have made students embark on various illicit and illegal activities.

As we all know that a lazy man could be used as the devils workshop.

Let's go straight to the point of this article, we all know that desperate times calls for desperate actions.

We would use two world leaders as case instance for this article.

Having assumed office as the president of the United states of America, Donald trump immediately started the process of building a wall around the Mexican borders to curtail the inflow of immigrants and hard drugs to the united states, not minding the cost of the wall.

In 1979 the Chinese government led by Mao Zedong introduced a one child policy per couple to limit the blooming population,

The one-child policy was part of a birth planning program designed to control the size of the rapidly growing population of China.

These two examples are desperate actions during tough times.

1. The first thing the president of Nigeria should do at this moment is the set up an emergency centre for employment and entrepreneurship, and also a skill acquisition center in all federal universities, the center would be spread across all the faculties in the universities, experts should be drafted to teach the students on skills that would be beneficial to them even after graduating from school, skills like solar panel building for engineering students, videography for theatre art student and so on.

The president should order all vice chancellors to order students to return back to there campuses and participate fully in this federal government program.

2. Bursary's should be paid to the students on monthly basis, money ranging from 10 to 20 thousand should be paid to the account of every student in Federal universities to enable them carter for themselves while embarking on this program.

The money meant for the salaries of the striking academicians should be channeled to this program till the strike is finally called off.

This bursary program should be structured just like other social intervention program of this administration like the Trader money (money meant for traders), farmer money, N-power and so, this would help to cushion the effect of the strike on young and promising students.

Super Eagles Drop Three
Places In FIFA Ranking
6 November 27, 2020 10:40 am

The Super Eagles of Nigeria dropped three places
from 32nd to 35th in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola
World Ranking, Completesports.com reports.
The rankings was published on FIFA’s official
website.

In Africa, the Super Eagles are now the continent’s
fourth best team.

The Eagles’ poor ranking does not come as a
surprise following their poor outing in the 2021
AFCON qualifiers against Sierra Leone.
Also Read: Bosso Unveils Squad For WAFU U-20
Cup Of Nations
In the first-leg in Benin the Eagles squandered a
four-goal lead to draw 4-4 against the Leone
Stars.
And in the reverse fixture in Freetown, both teams
settled for a 0-0 draw.

Teranga Lions of Senegal moved up one spot to
20th in the world and are number in Africa.
Tunisia remained second on the continent and
26th globally while reigning African champions
Algeria dropped one spot to 31st and third in
Africa.

There were no changes in the top five in the world
as Belgium, France, Brazil, England, and Portugal
retained their first, second, third, fourth and fifth
places respectively.
The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be
published on 10 December 2020.

the drop is no surprise at all, Nigeria would still drop like 1 or 2 places below in the next rankings, other countries play friendlies to boost there rankings, Genort rohr plays friendlies to test fringe players in strange wings.

Super Eagles camp in disarray as players, coaches battle Rohr over ‘poor decisions’
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is said to be trying to bring sanity to Super Eagles camp over ‘the bad blood’ generated by Friday’s 4-4 draw the Nigerian team recorded against Sierra Leone in an African Cup of Nations qualifier.
Nigeria led Sierra Leone by 4-0 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Friday only for the Leone Stars to come back and force the Super Eagles to a 4-4 draw.
At the end of the game, many of the players and some back room staff blamed Rohr for the draw, accusing the German of ignoring their counsel in the game management.
An NFF top official, who pleaded anonymity, said the federation’s President, Amaju Pinnick, had to intervene when it looked like some players and coaches were trying to mutiny against Rohr over the way he is handling the team.
Relating to an incident during the match when Skipper Ahmed Musa had to confront Rohr for making ‘bad changes’ in the course of the game, the source said many of the senior players accused the German of not understanding the flow of the game and therefore could not make effective changes.
“The Sierra Leonean coach made three changes that turned the game on its head, while Rohr reduced the effectiveness of our team by some curious decisions.
“The worst part is that he did not seek any of his coaches’ opinion before making changes during the game. He only wrote some things on a paper and passed to our team secretary, Day Enebi, who then submitted names for substitutions.
“Rohr said some of the players were not mentally ripe for national team games, yet he keeps inviting these players.
“The way things stand, if the NFF president fail to bring sanity to the camp, we could witness worse performance in Freetown,” he said.
The source also said some of the senior players have started questioning Rohr’s competence, arguing the German has not been able to lift the team above the 2017 level.
“I have been confronted by some of these players with what they perceive as the poor coaching standard of the leader of the technical crew.
“After the 2-1 loss to Argentina at the World Cup in Russia, Rohr said he had learnt his lessons from that game. But he seems to have learnt nothing.
“Some of the senior players have now decided to play more active part in team selection and management during games since Rohr has shown a glaring lack of capacity to manage the team effectively.
“I am sure that if the late Amodu Shaibu or Stephen Keshi were in charge of the Super Eagles, no team, not even France or Brazil, can force Nigeria to a draw after trailing by 4-0. It is not possible.”
