Hey 🤠

1. The United States embassy requires visa support documents but they are now wiser than most visa applicants because they discovered that Nigerians can go to any length in getting what they want . They also realized that Nigerians are rich and we have connections . NOT BECAUSE NIGERIANS ARE FRAUDULENT .

2. Therefore, they metamorphosed their interview idea into Psychological policy . This means that even if your sponsor is BILL GATE , you will still open your mouth and tell the Consular Officer why Bill gate is financing you , your plans after graduation , your ties to your country that will prompt you to return etc.

3. Ipso facto, you still have to attend your interview with support documents but it is not the property of the US embassy , it is your property . In the case if embassy detects a counterfeit documents like bank statement , they may withold it but it's in a rare cases . If they detect fake UK visa on your passport they won't seize your passport , they may only ban you for some years .

4. In summary , if your visa documents are genuine or not genuine , the probability that the US embassy will return it back to you is 98% .

Best Wishes 🙏

Alright, thanks

They do not place heavy reliance on documentation in the U.S. embassy because they know the climes we are in and anything can be forged. If they ask to see a document during your interview they can either return it to you after viewing or hold on to it and I’ve heard of cases where if you don’t have the document they ask for with you, they give you instructions on how to drop off the document that they require from you. Personally I do not go with any documentation to the embassy because most of my renewals have been physically except from the last one (I guess I was profiled for birthing those times) they don’t check it, there are too many people waiting to be interviewed. If it makes you feel good please go with as many documents as you feel will convince the V.O

OK thank you

Debbieeeeeee:

What type of document?
For your interview you should go with two passport photos, ds 160 confirmation, appointment confirmation. A copy each of all. And any other document that you think will help your case.

Debbieeeee, do they take copies of the supporting documents like bank documents etc or they return it back?

Okay thanks.
So, do you think it's worth going through the PGD and then Msc please

Depending on what u want, is worth it at the end.
Postgraduate diploma is not a bad idea to get to ur target field.

I will do it as well, even though I have MSc already.. but like I said, it depends on ur plan and purpose for wanting it.

Please I had my first degree in Agricultural economy and extension services. Can I with this apply for Msc Information Services?

Seeing that admission is granted to Science-based courses, but Agricultural sciences isn't listed there.

Right directions please.

Thank you

U have to do PGD first I believe. Am in similar boat with u..

Don't be confused. Verification takes about 10 mins. If you go there by January, you will be verified in January. You asked if verification will still be opened by April and I said "most likely". But the implication of doing verification by April means you are doing verification close to the end of the semester and you may not be able to meet up with registration for the semester that begins January.

Ok boss
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Chriswazo(m): 1:12pm On Dec 17, 2023
Enskynelson:

The current semester ends by end of this month.
Exams is expected to begin by April. If you do verification then, you will be doing it very close to the exams.

Honestly bro, am more confused now.

U said application is starting next month which is January and it last till around end of the semester or sth,
So if I apply next month and am admitted, I will have to complete physical verification and also fo exam in April?

Or I should reach u privately? Am asking here cos I assume people in my shoes will learn as well.
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Chriswazo(m): 10:21pm On Dec 16, 2023
Enskynelson:

it also possible there will be further engagements that will also necessitate the physical presence again

Not any for now. Unless introduced later.

Yes, application for admission is 100 per cent online. Once it starts, it normally take until close to the semester exams before it ends.

Please when is close of the semester u are referring to? So if d start January now, application and the verification can still be on till like April
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Chriswazo(m): 4:16am On Dec 16, 2023
Enskynelson:

Physical verification is not been moved online completely as an applicant is required to be physically present with hard copies of his original certificates and documents in order to be given matriculation number. It is after this you can start registration which can be done from any location.

Nawa o... but then is it also possible there will be further engagements that will also necessitate the physical presence again?

Secondly, I think d verification will come after one has gotten admission right? So the application can be completely done online and if admitted, it will now be for the physical verification to get Matric number..

Is the date for the January application known now and how long is the usual application period before is cosed?
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Chriswazo(m): 12:28am On Dec 16, 2023
Enskynelson:

Verification comes immediately after a successful online. You take the original of your certificates to the study centre with photocopies along with passport photograph. Verification is the process of checking if you present what makes you qualified for the admission. It's currently closed till January. It takes about 10mins. After verification, you will be given a matriculation number which you can use to register on the student portal. On the portal, you will be able to fund your wallet and do your registration.

Meaning one must have to visit the physical center to complete reg. So what of for those abroad, so one need to come back to Nigeria for this?
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Chriswazo(m): 3:02pm On Dec 03, 2023
Enskynelson:

Application officially opens January 2024.
YES, it is possible to complete everything online (All exams, project defense etc).

Alright thanks bro
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Chriswazo(m): 2:12pm On Dec 03, 2023
Enskynelson:

This is easy. U just have to refill the application form. If you find it difficult to do this, send a DM.

Could you pls confirm to me the following sir?

Is the application closed for PGD IT, cos I see the application is still possible but maybe I don't understand?
If is closed now, when is the next application phase?
More importantly, can the program be completed online including the exam modules and every components of this program?

Thank you, as I wait on your reply.

Ok bro, in case anyone interested in it, u can PM me.
The car in question is MDX 2011, I sent it to Nigeria ahead of my visit for my dad's burial, so used it for about 3 weeks before moving back. The car is in a good condition and unregistered..

I will upload the pic here for now, the car is in the East currently, flew back to Lag, so couldn't bring it to Lag. Send me pm for any details or enquiry.
As for price, anything about 7.7mil,. I go sell.

I still have this car, like I said I am not in country and don't have anyone in Lagos or anywhere to sell this car for me..

Am ready to take a reasonable price cut as I need money to clear some business now... DM

Good morning, waiting for feedback after interview, its been 6 weeks, school has resumed and they are advising to move studies to summer semester, i want to ask, if i move studies, does it affect my visa application with the embassy

I don't think so, u can also send a notice to the embassy to inform and explain the circumstances so as to avoid a case of misrepresentation.

Hahaha I have been thinking about that bicycle as well

1. You mean with 150 euro one can eat three times a day for 30 days 🤔🤔

2. I'm above 30

3. Will 450 get a selfcon room?

4. My location will be Bielefeld University

With this calculation it means one can be conveniently saving over 500 euro a month?

U no go pay insurance?
