I don't know how you decided that everyone who is standing with Iran on this unwarranted war, is suddenly a jihadist and radical islamist. Some of you lack functional brains on this platform cos every information you get is from western controlled media.

For your information, here are a few reasons why the majority of people globally, support Iran in this conflict.

Sometime in 2015 during Obama's tenure, there was an agreement called the JCPOA that was signed between Iran, the US and the EU. That agreement allowed for Iran to use their nuclear technology for only peaceful civilian use and prohibited them from enriching uranium to weapons grade. By abiding to that agreement, Iran would in turn receive sanctions relief and several of Iranian funds that had been frozen in western banks, would be gradually released to them. This agreement was even endorsed by the UN. What did Trump do when he got into power? He canceled it and pulled out of it. The west didn't honor their part of the deal. Iran therefore decided to install more advanced centrifuges to increase their uranium enrichment which was roughly around 30/40 percent at the time. To get to weapons grade, you have to enrich up to 90%.

Last year, Israel together with the US, attacked Iran unprovoked under the guise of wanting to destroy their nuclear program and this attack came during a period where Iran, the US and other western countries were discussing on Iran's nuclear program. America deceived them with negotiations and attacked them during the process. After 12 days of war, the US proposed a ceasefire.

Early this year, the US engaged Iran in negotiations on the same nuclear program and this time around, the Iranians even made further concessions to the US. They agreed to reducing enrichment to just a little above 1.5%(the Obama deal was at 3% enrichment). As a matter of fact, the Omani team facilitating the negotiations had said the negotiations were going on smoothly and they were confident of having a deal. The US and Israel suddenly attacked Iran unprovoked again, killing their leaders and top generals. Not only did they kill high ranking officials, they bombed a school with little children not more than 12 years old, killing about 168 of them at once. Thousands of civilians have been killed since the attack on Iran started. Even traditional allies of the US have condemned this attack and called it unjust and unwarranted. Millions of Americans are out there on the street of America protesting for the war to stop. Israelis are also on the street protesting for the government to stop the war. The vast majority of the world have condemned the attack on Iran but you people with little or no knowledge of events that led to this conflict, are supporting the US and suddenly feel everyone who supports Iran in this conflict, is a jihadist. Nigeria is suffering from boko haram and iswap terrorism because of the Iraqi and Libyan war orchestrated by the same America. They lied to us Sadam Hussein had nuclear weapons which was a lie and they invaded Iraq which led to the death of over 500 thousand civilians and made Iraq a breeding ground for terrorists. The same thing happened in Libya and Nigeria is suffering from that. If you do not see the evil the US is committing all over the world, it means that you are a terrible person with no conscience. Human lives should not be wasted because of some people's stupid ego. Imagine what America would do if 500k Americans were killed in a conflict. By now, they would have dropped nukes on the whole world. With all their stupid talk of human rights and wanting to police the world, they are the only country in history to have ever dropped a nuclear bomb on another country, killing almost 300k people.

When Persia/Iran saved Israel from Babylonians, Persia which is today's Iran was not a Muslim country, it was a purely Persian country and they had good relationship with Israel/Jews until Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his Muslim Jihadists conquered Persia and turned it to an Islamic Republic nation with the sole aim to destroy Israel which they have been pursuing through sponsoring of proxy Muslim terrorist organizations like Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis, etc all to help them destroy Israel.

You are the one who lacks proper information. Yes, when Persia delivered the Jews from babylonian captivity, it wasn't yet named the Islamic republic of Iran. How did the republic of Iran come about? It had everything to do with the misrule of the former shah, his role in the coup against the former prime Minister mosedegh, the US and UK involvement in that coup and most importantly, the fact that the people of Iran chased the shah away. The Ayatollah had been a prominent opposition to the shah and at a time, went on exile to turkey and then Iraq. The crisis that ensued after mosedegh was overthrown and put on house arrest after serving a 3 year term for treason, was what brought the Ayatollah back to lead the Iranian revolution. At the time, majority of the people voted overwhelmingly for the country to become an Islamic republic. It's a shame to see people like you spread false narratives that the ayatollah conquered Iran and forced them to become an Islamic republic.

When I say a lot of Nigerian pastors are ignorant, people think I just want to insult them. For those who don't know, the Persians(Iran) were the first set of people to deliver the jews(Israel) from babylonian captivity. The Palestinian cause, is the main reason Iran has problems with Israel. The second reason is Israel's greater Isreal plan where they intend to annex several middle Eastern countries to form a larger Jewish nation. As we speak, Israel is occupying parts of Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, and intend to go all the way to other countries. Israel has clearly been the one pushing for America to attack Iran for 40 years now(Benjamin Netanyahu himself said that). Iran who they claim are terrorists, have never attacked or invaded any of their neighbors and that is something you can easily verify on the internet. Israel on the other hand has bombed and attacked virtually every country around them. This current war has a lot of ropes to it. Netanyahu is facing criminal charges in his country that would see him go to jail and the only way to avoid it, is to continously wage war so he doesn't have to answer for his corruption case waiting for him. Nigerian pastors are actually very ignorant in geopolitics

They are involved. They are only not carrying out operations themselves. They are providing the US with the necessary resources and environment. Bahrain as at this morning has started seeing an uprising with the citizens protesting and destroying government properties because of the government's involvement in this conflict. If the uprising spreads round the country and the people manage to depose the leader, it would spread to the other GCC states and this is exactly what those royal dictatorships are scared of. At the end of the day, if the GCC states decide to physically get involved in launching attacks on Iran, what is evident is that the entire infrastructure of the middle east both in Iran and the GCC states, would be destroyed. There will be no winners.

Iran will simply destroy same in Israel and in the GCC countries. I don't think the Israelis think before acting. The way it is going, the entire middle east is about to be returned to medevial era.

Children have been the most affected so far among the Iranian casualties so what exactly are you talking about? The 168 little kids that were killed by Israeli-American bombs on the first day of the war nko? Did you criticize that? The Lebanese and Palestinian kids Israel has been killing nko? Some of you have hearts that is so dark and I really think most of you are worse than Satan on this platform. I always see how you guys neglect the crimes Israel and America commit on innocent women and children but always want to paint Iranians as bad people. That's not correct. The school where the 168 students were killed happens to be a school where children of the IRGC attend. It was intentionally targeted. By the way, have you seen videos of Isreal's air defense installations? They are located right within civilian houses. You guys are just bias to be honest.

How is Israel targeting only military targets? Or you are not aware that the death toll in Iran from Israeli bombing is already over 1400 civilians? Israel and America bombed 2 different schools in Iran with the first school losing about 168-170 pupils. Iran has been retaliating and they have not bombed any school so far despite their missiles flying over 1000km. Is it that you people clearly avoid saying the truth or you don't get enough information before commenting? I'm really curious to know.

The funny thing is that Iran has already stated they don't have oil to sell to the international market. This counters anything Trump was trying to achieve. Iran's oil is basically sold to China. This morning, Brent crude was around $113 per barrel. It's same reason Dangote increased his price last night.

Since they have intelligence that 2 suicide bombers are planning attack, isn't there a way to stop them? For them to know that they are 2 in no, it means they should be able to identify them.

No. They have to discuss with the Americans and find a way out of it. It's better having friendly relationship with your neighbors and be at peace than having friendly relationship with your neighbor's enemy and be at war constantly. If they get into a conflict with Iran and start fighting back, it would be a very strategic mistake on their part. Iran can hit key facilities that would make their citizens rise up against those monarchies and those monarchies won't want to lose control of their country. Take Bahrain for example, they used to be a colony under Iran and are predominantly Shia Muslims. It would not be difficult to instigate the people to rise up against the leaders. If you see most of the videos of Iran bombing those countries, you will notice the citizens are always celebrating those arrivals of missiles. Joining the US to attack Iran, is a very delicate decision to make.

I have been seeing this news as a rumor but something struck me last night to think there must be an atom of truth in it. The war cabinet has held 2 meetings now and Bibi was absent in both meetings. Only a trip to the US would have made him absent from those meetings but guess what, he's not been to the US in the past 6 days. Question is where exactly is he? A president suddenly disappearing from public view in the middle of such a war, is unheard of. I don't know if he is dead but his absence from crucial meetings, from public space and the fact that his son mysteriously stopped tweeting for 6 days now, suggests that there might be an issue. Netanyahu has not been seen live on tv or at any live event lately. The few short videos put out to show he's alive, are not convincing.

I believe the UNITED STATES can and might just defend and secure the Strait of Hormuz. It has been Iran's bargaining chip for too long.

They can't do it alone. They've had to move their warships away from the Persian gulf after series of attacks from the Iranians. Even the German defense minister asked what a few frigates from the allies would be able to achieve when the US navy with all its might could not do it alone and even had to retreat several 100s of miles from there after the attacks on the aircraft carriers. The truth is that Trump entered this war high on the success of the Venezuela operation and thought he could do a quick shock and awe attack on Iran. He didn't expect this sort of resistance. His allies have been asking him what the overall objective of the operation is and he hasn't been able to give a definite answer. The truth is everyone knows that they are likely going to take severe losses if they get involved and as such, would rather stay out of the conflict.

I have a certain level of disgust and dislike for unintelligent people and can never pity them. How can you be traveling out of the country to a country for the first time with only 2 days left on your visa and you didn't think of the fact that you were doing something very silly? You think everyone has your kind of brain? I'm sure you were riding on hope/luck/favor but that was an extremely silly thing to do. Good you're building your life back though. How many missiles, drones and rockets have islamic terrorists launched against israel? How many hit their targets? How many were intercepted by Israeli air defences? Go, figure bros.

Clueless Nigerian at it again. The only reason Isreal is not yet looking like Gaza, is because most of the gulf countries and the US air defenses in the middle east, are used to intercept a large portion of the missiles that are fired from Iran to Isreal. Majority of them get intercepted before they get into Isreali airspace. Secondly, the iron dome was designed for short range rockets fired from hamas and Hezbollah, and not for Iranian missiles. Isreal has david sling for medium range missiles fired from Hezbollah and Arrow 2 & 3 for long range missiles fired from Iran. So currently, Israel is using both American, European, and middle east countries air defense systems combined with Israeli air defenses, to protect themselves and despite these, Iranian missiles are still penetrating. Imagine if all Israel had was just their own air defenses? By now, they would be looking like Gaza.

By the way, America sank an Iranian ship that had about 180 sailors on board who were coming from a friendly competition in India. The ship had no arms on it and the ship was in international water. The ignorance on this thread is mind boggling. Dangote is adjusting price up and down according to the international market. The price of crude on the international market had seen up and downward movement in the past 48 hrs. Nigerians should expect more of this up and downward movement of price of fuel at the filling stations, as time goes on. Market forecast predicts brent crude would likely get up to $215 per barrel if the war in Iran continues for the next 2-3 weeks. A lot of refineries in the middle east, are shutting down production currently.

This one has nothing to do with APC as a party/government even though they are very useless. This oil price increment has everything to do with America's useless war in Iran. Those of you cheering America and Israel in the conflict, can see the outcome.

This dude is delusional...lol. Iran only agreed to stop bombing the GCC nations after president Putin and the Iranian president spoke. This is because Putin has been mediating between the GCC states and Iran. Iran will only stop bombing them so long as they do not allow any US attack from any of those states on Iran. Trump being his deceptive self is trying to spin things around to look like Iran begged them. If any drone or missile is fired towards Iran from any GCC state, Iran will retaliate.

Both sides have lost billions of dollars worth of assets in this war that is just a week old. It just shows you how destructive war can be. War is never a good thing. It comes with too much destruction and losses.

I hope those of you supporting America's war on Iran can see the outcome. When we were criticizing Trump's decision to start a needless war, you guys were busy typing nonsense here. Just so you know, ships can no longer move oil through the strait of hormuz where about 20% of world's oil shipment passes through. Insurance companies have also increased the cost of insuring those ships which in turn, has increased the cost of shipping oil. Several refineries in the middle east has shut down due to the fact that they have been bombed. As a matter of fact, the largest refinery in Saudi Arabia has shutdown coz it was bombed during this conflict. Oil rigs and oil fields have also been bombed. All of these combined, is the reason for the increase in oil prices globally. Pump price of petroleum in Europe and America has also increased. The only countries where there might be little or no increment in prices of oil at the gas stations, are countries that are subsidizing the cost of fuel for their citizens. In all of these, there would be another increment next week too. Just yesterday alone, Brent crude opened trading at about $84 dollars or so and closed trading at about $93 dollars even though it got to an all time high of the day of $94. At that rate, market forecast predicts we might hit $140 in a week or two. So expect pump price to get to 1,600 by next week or thereabouts.
