The company no try sha if she paid 34m only 2m remain but still bring d car to d company for servicing yet d company out of their proudness seize the car because of 2m don't make sense if she was dodging to pay d 2m she won't have bring d car to d company to service it for her.the company client relationship is too poor irrespective I no Tonto n wahala na 5&6 but on this she has every right to be mad at d company.the white don't run business like this.u don't harras your costumer in dat manner, even dangote dey owe credit but dat doesn't stop him from still running his business.very unethical practices from d company.

The way most of you are talking ehn, I'm wondering if it's school that you people did not go to or it's lack of common sense. Business that should have rounded up in 3 months, dragged on for over a year and you are blaming them for holding on to the car. If all their clients behave in same manner, where will they see money to run the business? Won't they be out of business immediately?

Saao:
exactly my thoughts, they need to refund her her money. People don't really like Tonto see how people comments in support of the car company. 36m car, she paid 34m, u seize the car because of 2m but you didn't refund her her 34m and you think you're right?

Car was sold for 86m. Direct manufacturer wasn't ready to do installment payment with her even as a celebrity. She approached the car dealer to help her out. He bought the car off on her behalf and scheduled installment payment with her. She paid 36m or so with the promise to balance up within 3 months. 3 months turned into 7 months and more with her scattering the money in bits of 1m, 2m payments after several entreaties... That transaction is already messed up with the current exchange rate.

But why should they seize the car when she has managed to pay N84million out of N86million? They should just be reminding her of the balance of N2m. The fact that she even brought the car back to your shop for servicing shows she wasn't running away with your N2m.

She was supposed to balance up within 3 months but ended up spending over a year to pay in piecemeal. Do you know how much they would have lost in that transaction that way? For them to have held on to the car of a public figure, you should know that person wasn't ready to pay the balance.

Ideyontop:
Exactly my thoughts , that company has done very badly and I won’t want to do business with such.

She was not running nor hiding, she even brought it to you for servicing? There’s a way to follow you customers and get them to pay. If the balance is 2 million it means you have even made profit already, it’s not as if the remaining balance is hurting your business.

On the other hand, Tonto pay them their balance please!

You people are talking nonsense. This is how people run out of business. I have clients that I allowed to do this sort of thing with me and up till tomorrow, I can't get my money back. Millions of naira lost cumulatively because I was trying to do useless customer relations. Nigerians are chronic debtors and majority never pay up their debts.
