Sup? I think we discussed this issue on one of your threads way back about the dwindling pool of marriageable men... Matthew briggs: I am not surprised by this development, Moreover I think this is a serious cause to be alarmed not just for women but for we Males. Because this report is about the scarcity of "Men" not "Males".

This means that the rate at which boys are turning into real men is dwindling rapidly.

I think the rise in unemployment, Increase in standard of living and the high cost of running a family are some of the factors responsible. But most importantly I think the rapid decline in morals, values and the lack of emotional maturity of the Nigerian male is a major cause of this development. Most guys are not marriageable they are still boys.

The irony is that majority of males on this thread are laughing at this development seeing it as an opportunity to mock females instead of asking them self This question

For we males most of us have some serious growing up to do.

For the females don't wait for Men. Who says you can't go for the boys and groom them to become Men, just make sure he really sees you in his future. Also lower your expectations but still keep your standards, amidst all live life and enjoy it, don't tie your happiness to a man lest you look desperate. When it's your time, your man will come be it at 20 or 40 just make sure you're eyes is wide open to notice him when he comes around, don't allow pride and your character defects to send him running. Learn to go after potential not after physical cash, think long term in relationships and stop wasting you time with the wrong un serious partner.

Anytime one is bored,all one has to do is visit NL. This thread got me laughing real hard. It's definitely a sorry situation. I just hope the younger folks will learn. The economic situation in the country is not helping matters.

On a lighter note,I think guys can use this thread to woo any lady. All you have to do is walk up to her and express yourself to her. If she's forming for you,just log on to nairaland and tell her to read this thread. Perharps,her answer might change. Just kidding o.
