I was able to initiate updates of mk 11 and FIFA 20 but I abandoned the updates coz network was poor and I had offline opponents at the time.

It was this recent issue he had here that gingered me to complete the updates only for psN to be requesting subscription from me anytime I try to find online opponents. It was confusing.

I messaged him on WhatsApp to see if it could be fixed, even sent a short video illustrating the problem but he only responded initially and hasn't responded to subsequent reminders.

I checked again this morning, apparently I have been blocked.

You can't, if your OEM didn't include a band in the Chipset/modem when configuring it for the region it is meant for, forget it.

I have the global version,but can't lock the LTE band without root access, which mtk devices can do seamlessly, honestly I'm beginning to reconsider my position on Snapdragon soc it sucks

How does one lock on to an LTE band on any network on the redmi 8a without root, cause I'm feeling MTN band 20 as opposed to the usual band 7 that my phone is always receiving, please I need workable solutions.

Does anyone know how to lock redmi 8a to MTN LTE band 20, cause it seems like it's the best and band 7 seems to crawl like a snail most times,I'll be glad if someone can come up with a workable solution besides rooting.

Their 4g network spread is nothing to write home about even in major cities of the country, still mostly on shitty hspa+ in 2020,they really need to step up .
