You and the other guy are one of those fans that see a player play for the club in a particular position and that is it. He can't play elsewhere. That's why you hear questions like do you ever watch arsenal play. Henry was a pathetic right winger before Arsene made him a striker.

Eboue was a right defender last season long. Did you know he could play on the right of midfield? A back-up defender on loan. I can't beleive it.

If Gallas and Toureare out for any reason at all only Eboue in that whole team will be considered for CD.

I don't think Wenger came into this season expecting to win the League.The squad seems designed just to finish in the top 4 but not to challenge for the title.Gooners have overachieved beyond the expectations of the manager but even he knows that this season is too early for the Gooners to win yet.

The problem is that while he is looking at the future,the squad will continue to lose talented players.Players like Cesc might start to think they stand a better chance of winning trophies by going somewhere else

So if you are Arsenal's manager, you will play a player on loan in central defence (a sensitive positon) in favour of eboue. If Djourou is that good as a back-up defender, why is he on loan? If Gallas and Toure are injured in the arsenal team, the next player fit to step into central defence in that team is Eboue. That's what wenger will do. That's how Tacticians think.
