Does anyone know anything on Nikolay Dimitrov, apparently he's a 20 yr old Bulgarian left winger that Arsenal have taken on trial. We sure could do with wingers but does anyone know how good he is or seen him play

Before those 3 score against Arsenal, Makalele will score a hat trick

No doubt Jens has quality but his temprament will always be a question.

I suggest we hang on to him until we get a suitabel replacement (Almunia does have a habit of coming out for balls that don't concern him)

HNIC:
Diaby is quite offensive and loves to take on players, He had an excellent game against Chelsea earlier in the year in the Carlings Cup final,
Very good point, Chelsea struggled to contain us for 70 mins with our half team, Drogba had to come to their rescue once again (Where was Lampard on the dayhuh Big game player my ass). This was only last year, i feel the team has improved drastically since then and Chelsea can write us off at their own peril
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by chuckdee4(m): 10:38am On Dec 13, 2007
Diaby tends to overdo the dribbling but u can see he's got what he takes when his game finally matures
The 2nd half peformances is something AW has to work on.
If the likes of Fab and Hleb are coming back then i don't see anything past an Arsenal victory, we've got our 2 main match winners coming back, while Chelsea will be playing without 2 of theirs, Lampard doesn't count for me, cos he's gone missing everytime Arsenal come to town.
In all i hope we see a good game with an Arsenal victory to send those posh Russians back to the rotten end of London
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by chuckdee4(m): 10:23am On Dec 13, 2007
I didn't realise how much we missed Diaby until yesterday, fine Steau were not the best of teams but he showed how he could have helped our creative play in midfield in the absence of Fab.
RVP looked impressive as usual and its so nice seeing him back, at least now we have twice as much of a chance to score when paired with Adebayor, bring on bloody Chelsea, hope Flamini is back in time for the Chelsea game

Bendtner was superb and held up the ball well, he's got quick feet for a big man, however i do feel we need to work on sustaining our pressure, especially in the second half, even if we can't sustain it, we should at least hold up the ball and make teams chase the ball

Does anyone know why Victor Anichebe was excluded from the Super Eagles squad for AFCON?
After the poor boy put Naija b4 England (Although i doubt England woul dplay him in their first team) Vogts invited the poor boy only to bench him, he's still young anyway but i don't see why he didn't seletc him if that crap player Makinwa was included.
I might as well go try out as a striker, since Makinwa is good enough

Don't get to excited, Liverpool owe u guys one and apart from that suprise defeat by Reading they have been in good form. I think the time is just about right where they get on eon u guys, u know Liverpool know how to turn on the style when it really matters (Shame they only do it in Europe), plus this is in Anfield, so there's a fat chance u'll leave with all 3 points

Jackal i wouldn't b ecelebrating so soon, u know ur back 4 have never experienced the Torres treatment, i think the fact that not much is known of him will give him th eedge, ask Chelsea how he skinned their back 4 b4 Mr Clattenburg cheated on Chelsea's behalf.

So if i was u i'lld be worried about Toress, i think Liverpool can handle ur phony trinity

Lets not go into Arsenal's disciplinery record thats another issue all together
I'm saying to give Eduardo time, i remember ur now self proclaimed best left back in the premiership struggling to make ur first team when he first came.

Sagna is the shyte, i swear i remember u singing his praises as well at the start of the season, when Eboue was on the bench (when rosicky was playin in front of him) Sagna still did the business, so all that crap about eboue covering him is crap. the only reason he looked bad on sunday was due to too many games, him and Clichy have hardly been rested plus their roles are very demanding, bombing up and down the field aint easy u know

i did express my dissapointment at his contribution so far this seasn but al li said was that i'm not giving up on him so soon, we've all seen him on the international level and we know what he's capable of, heck he showed ur darlig England a thing or 2. Players are different, some take forever to gel, others fit in nicely (Sagna) so all that talk about Nini grin and Anderson fitting in instantly don't hold no water, besides they played in a more competitive league than Dudu did.

U go on about Wenger's man management being crap but he

- turned a rascally Vieira into a world class player
- turned a nobody Anelka into a £20m + striker
- turned a pacey winger in Henry into d best striker in the world

hows about that for a cv?

GONERS. . . . . Y'alls missing the point! It ain't about gilberto or flamini, they're both ok chaps who'll fit in & play anyday. . . . . . 4 me its more about a near worthless bench & that utterly useless EDUARDO!

@ Debo,
can u seriously stick your neck out & say u don't wish ALI was still on y'all sidehuh
Place that fool side by side with ALI & judge 4 yourself!
Ruddie i fear this ur obsession with Ali is reaching another level, at least Eduardo will mop up any lose change in the 18 yard box, rather than Ali who would blast it over the bar.
I'm still exercising patience with Eduardo, i have been upset with recent performances but in all fairness he hasn't been played as a striker very often. Remember Ade last season, look at him now (He may miss a million and 1 chances but his goals have been vital), same could be said 4 Eduardo, so i would write him off yet, there's still some good in him.

the bench aint so bad, i only worry about our cover in attack and defence and wings, hopefully Wenger dives into the January transfer window to sort this out, the midfield is competitive enough

Sir, there is a high degree of lawlessness in the country. It is well known fact. It is greedyness and selfishness that will make me to buy a plot of land on a property that I know should not be used for residential apartment.

If I were to be to chased off from my home due to the fact it is government property, I will accept the fact that I was stupid enough to buy such a land in the first place. But to now expect the government to spoon feed me, is ridiculous and an extension of my stupidity again!.
Okay i don't know how these lands were obtained, if they indeed were government property then i have no sympathy for them, especially if they knew they were obtaining government property b4 buying them.
About the governmnet being partly to blame, i would say the government are 60% to blame, Nigerians are the way they are becos of the government, back in the 60's during th eoil boom Nigerians weren't this lazy, in th ewords of Fela "This suffering will bring out the beast in us"

Its a step in the right deirection, for years i've wondered why Oluwole was allowed to exist when its a known fact that any document could be forged there, shouldn't the EFCC have paid them a visit ages ago?

As for the residents there the government should have found them places, u just don't chase people outta their houses/shops just like that.

Mr Pataki i'll partially agree with u on ur point about Nigerians being spoon fed, the government should have made alternative arrangements for these people or how would u feel if u were chased off ur home/shop without a replacement home?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by chuckdee4(m): 11:20am On Dec 12, 2007
@ Fola

Its a bit unfair to blame Gilberto for the losses to Seville and Boro, footbal is a team sport and they were 10 other players on the field that day, why not blame them all.
Gilberto has been poor in all fairness and has justified his status on the bench, i'm a big Gilberto fan and would love to see him back to his best and in the first team, but football is not run by sentiments, if ur not up to scratch then u warm the bench. Flamini has matured with the responsiblity bestowed on him, i didn't really want him to go when he handed in a transfer request cos the season we got to the CL finals he showed he's character when he played left full back, he's a fighter and a hustler, a role that is not given too much credit in modern day football (Ask Makalele n Gatusso). Let Wenger stick with his policy of playing the in form player, Flamini had a chance to get into the first team at the beginning of the season and he took it, now Berti has his chance, unfortunately he hasn't convinced me yet.

I once had a gf who believed i was doing stuff behind her back, she tried everything to catch me out, the craziest of them all was her setting up a new account on Hi5, she then started sending me messages trying to strike up a conversation, i went with the flow and eventually started suspecting (Its not everyday a fine girl chases u). Eventually i put 2 and 2 together and kept my suspisions to myself.

When D-day came, she cme with print outs of proof while i sat there with a smug, when she was done i brought my own proof and countered everything she threw at me, the relationship ended there cos of trust issues, i had hoped it wasn't her behind the Hi5 messages but i guess my suspisions where right all along

U shouldn't be letting ur girls friends get under ur skin, ur a man for crying out loud. You should chin up, sit ur babe down and talk to her, let her know how serious u are and how highly u think of her, tell her that all that talk about her ex has to die off, plus tell her where u stand about her friends butting into ur relationship with her. Lay ur cards on the table and let her know where u stand, what if her friends don't like u, are u dating them? Why some silly women can't mind their own business baffles me.

ANyway just be a man and do what u have to do

The British media and the public knew Mayweather
was better. They were only trying to back their own
sports star which is a good thing.

It's only in Nigeria that we discard our own and
worship outsiders.

All the British bookmakers rated Mayweather
as favourite at even money while Hatton was only
6/4 to win.

Hatton is a light welterweight who had struggled
since he added some pounds to move to the welter
weight category.

The Brits are great in supporting their own even
when they know the opposition is better and I love
that.
Akin, its one thing supporting ur own but booing another countries national anthem is out of order.
Fair play the british would support a 10 yr old to beat Iron Mike but their behaviour can be very disgraceful.

In all the better man won, i don't too much about boxing but Mayweather sure has a reason to be arrogant
