Only time will tell, but i would still take 3 points over Wigan than Seville, apart from being table toppers there was nothing to prove to them, we whipped their asses a few weeks back so they should consider themselves lucky we didn't come there with our first team looking for results

The way the premiership's going, 3 points could be the difference between 1st and 2nd, this aint lik ethe season where one team wasn't firing on all cylinders, Arsenal n United seem to be playing very well so every point counts.
As for the CL, Porto were lucky, such luck is rarely seen, u can't avoid the big guns cos after the next round u'll be left with nothing but top European clubs

So we lost, i guess there are good and bad things about this loss. For one i would have rather they lost this match than the Wigan game, ask SAF if he would have rather beaten Bolton and lost against Lisbon and u'll see what he'lld say.
From that game what i gathered was

- Senderos gotta go, its one mistake after another
- Gilberto seems to be getting on, IMO he's not the player he used to be
- We can't afford to be without Hleb n Fab
- Adebayor sure is teh man, without him the Seville defenders had a field day
- Is it me or has Denilson been putting in some rather lame perfomances of recent
- With better service Dudu could be the man
- Whgere the hell is Van Persie

Like i said its a sweet n sour experience but at least now the team shouldn't be pressured by that invincible tag

The fact that the FA are not investing in football academies does not help their situation, there might be a few academies but they are strictly for kids who eat, live and breath football. It's not aimed at spotting talents, the talent has to come to them.

When u read how Gilberto was discovered then u'll understand what i'm talking about, there are a lot of good English footballers who have somewhere along the libe given up becos of no encouragement from the FA or club academies
