Countries with the fastest internet Electronic devices are things that we use every day and has a huge influence on our daily life. Especially the Internet is becoming more and more important for nearly everybody, probably more important than the devices themselves, and is now our most preferred means of everyday communication. However, to enjoy the uninterrupted services of the internet, you need to have good connectivity. There are two important metrics in bandwidth allocation (measured in Megabits per second or Mbps): download and upload speed, denoting the speed of inbound and outbound data respectively. The average web page loads at 6.3 Mbps universally, a number that denotes how many million bits of data can be moved in a second. While 6.3 mbps is quick enough to send an email or watch a Netflix show, it’s still very slow. Akamai Technologies, a Massachusetts-based internet provider, did a study on how the internet speeds measure up in countries worldwide. The company releases a report every quarter that ranks countries as per their internet speed. According to them, here are the top 10 countries, which are mentioned in descending order of net connectivity. 1. South Korea According to the Akami report, people in South Korea enjoy the fastest internet in the world. The country’s average internet speed measures 29 Mbps, which is 4.6 times as quick as the global average. To put things in perspective, the average HD film is about 5,000 MB. A computer could download that in a little over two and a half minutes at 29 Mbps speed. In spite of more than 80% of South Korean households have access to some of the world’s fastest internet connections, they face usage limitations. Several internet users have to face strong internet censorship in South Korea, according to a report released last year by the nonprofit Freedom House. 2. Norway. Norway witnessed the biggest growth (68%) in internet speed at 21.3 Mbps since last year in comparison to any other country in the top 10. At this speed, a computer could upload or download about five high-quality photos per second. 3. Sweden. Sweden’s internet offers an average of 20.6 Mbps, which means that many people hardly face any experience delays, even if they have multiple applications running that use a lot of bandwidth. Since last year, the country has noticed a 32% increase in speed. 4. Hong Kong Hong Kong was the first country in the world to hit 60 Mbps in 2013. Today, its residents enjoy an average internet speed of 19.9 Mbps. 5. Switzerland The internet in Switzerland rises at an average 18.7 Mbps, a 25% increase from last year. http://gadgetshost..com.ng/2016/07/countries-with-fastest-internet.html?m=1

Facebook is kinda behind whatsapp on user friendly development. |
Curved edge screen |
Curve edge screen |
I personally like the design |
This is better than the whatsapp encryption option, it's not any option on whatsapp tho |
So guys this post is about the new security encryption on Facebook message, I came across it on Twitter so I felt I should share. Facebook just said they would be releasing the end-to-end encryption for a limited number of users. Wait! What really is end-to-end encryption? Most of us are already using it on whatsapp right? According to Wikipedia it is "End-to-end encryption (E2EE) is a system of communication where only the communicating users can read the messages. In principle, it prevents potential eavesdroppers – including telecom providers, Internet providers, and even the provider of the communication service – from being able to access the cryptographic keys needed to decrypt the conversation. The systems are designed to defeat any attempts at surveillance and/or tampering because no third parties can decipher the data being communicated or stored. For example, companies that use end-to-end encryption are unable to hand over texts of their customers' messages to the authorities." so with that back to the gist, going by what the product manager Tony Leach said, he update would be made available to all users around the world , without fear that government or and third-party individual would have access to that conversation. We know this feature had been on whatsapp since April, but it is available by default. On Facebook messager user are allowed to set the encryption them self, by turning on the ‘Secret conversations Mode’ to encrypt a conversation. The product manager Tony Leach, explained that since people use Facebook messager for not just one device, but from Personal computers, Web browsers etc, making it available by default would limit users from using Facebook messenger from and device at any place as before. It also allows for messages to be deleted after a specific time in the ‘secret conversations’ after the receiver of the message had read it. greenhulk:Thats very true, kinda a trademark thing, at a glance you know it's Samsung, just like other smartphone gaints. |
The Galaxy Note 6 was skipped as the guys rightly said, the note 7 tho is said to be released on 2nd August. And is been called Samsung Galaxy Note 6/ Galaxy Note 7. |
OK, now this is really getting out of hand. It seems Samsung has started sending out preliminary Galaxy Note7 units to its partners and testing labs and the latter don't waste any time to snap a few photos and post online. One thing is for sure, the hype is real and we now have photos, upon photos, upon photos to prove it. Samsung Galaxy Note7 live shots And just to reiterate from the top, once again, the 5.7-inch or 5.8-inch display of the phablet is indeed curved and there are undoubtedly a few extra sensors next to the earpiece, most-likely the alleged iris scanner. This time around, we do get to see both sides of the Note7, revealing thin buttons, as well as the top. The latter is quite blurry, but there definitely no IR blaster in sight so it's not making a return in this generation. Samsung Galaxy Note7 leaked shots Speaking of which, despite the enormous volume of leaked shots we already have, we appear to still be short of any direct view of the enhanced S Pen and its compartment and ejection mechanism, not to mention the USB port, Type-C or otherwise. Leaksters, if you are out there reading, please take note and complete the picture. Other than that, you can mark August 2 on your calendars, as it will officially be the date of the Note's launch. Additional specs include an Exynos 8893 or Snapdragon 821 chipset, 6GB of RAM (4GB for the Verizon version), running Android 7.0 Nougat and TouchWiz. Samsung seems to have changed the styling of the latter quite a bit and even more surprises are likely in store for us come the Unpacked event. GSMArena.com http://gadgetshost..com.ng/?m=1

You may be happy the way your andriod phone interface looks and feels, yet custom ROMs give you the chance to experience different designs and new user interfaces. Custom ROMs give you bawesome functionality , this post is about all you need to know about andriod custom ROMs. What is a custom ROM? ROM, for the individuals who don't have the foggiest idea, is a working operating system (OS) assemble that keeps running on your gadget with fundamental applications, for example, a address book, calendar , camera, and so forth. A noteworthy preferred standpoint of Android cell phones is that they can be worked by outsider OS or third-party operating systems and not just with the first ROM(factory Rom) . Custom ROMs supplant the pre-introduced rendition of Android on gadgets. The substitution is made by a variety of the AOSP, adjusted by volunteers with 'an excessive amount of spare time'. These volunteers regularly work more as often as possible than the maker itself – in any event with regards to updates. So what is AOSP? AOSP means Android Open Source Program. It is a version of the open source code of Android, developed by Google in its consortium of brands to offer a pure version of the system, which is available to anyone. It can be modified by developers without the need to follow standards of Google applications. Pros of custom ROMs. 1.System upgrade for older smartphone versions 2. Better smartphone speed. 3.freedom to customize your andriod. 4. You get administrative access (root access). Equality according to the basher of the Queen and Freeze is equal opportunities for both genders abi? In today's Nigeria women are given a good level of equality, you see women in all courses of study in the universities Engineering, Medicine, Architecture & Design even the NDA admits girls. All though there are still some cultural practices against women, but many a fading away fast. Women in politics? When a woman Sarah Jibrin contest presidential primaries in a political party in Nigeria she got how many votes? One I think, where there not more than one woman among the delegates? Women are gradually coming forward in some aspects of society. Even the great USA is just about to have its first female president, after over two hundred years of existence, with time more women would be educated and most of the negative cultural practices would no longer hold. Finally sha, women and men are never, and would never be equal, na so God want am, unless you gets sense pass God,with no fit happen.*drops mic* ![]() |
