coolplanet:You are wise sir, DSS are to handle serious security threats, and provide protection for government officials like the state security services in the USA. |
emeka2847:Then why is Dangote one of the most powerful men in Africa? Been influential requires connection in place that matter, hold sway in serious places. Even our former minister of finance was once among the top most powerful people in the world. Adichie isn't exactly that popular in Africa as you say, although she has a voice, I also agree that sometimes connection isn't all this required to be influential. Like Beyonce and Co, but I think in Africa Adichie is still an upcoming name. |
Most influential? But how? Based on what? I would go with Folorunsho Alakija, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Nigerian former minister of finance. Most people don't even know this Chimamanda Ngozi. |
Eyekandi:The Bible actually doesn't encourage polygamy, but in this case I just feel sending away the second wife, would do more harm than good, would the man divorce the second wife, for no just curse. I'm Anglican, if a man has more than one wife, he is not allowed to hold positions in church, but he is not encourage to send away the second wife. |
Eyekandi:He doesn't want to make a choice, he asked for the best action to take, now he is a Christian. Even if he wants to make a choice, I personally would advice against it. My opinion tho ![]() Eyekandi:He doesn't want to make a choice, he asked for the best action to take, now he is a Christian. Even if he wants to make a choice, I personally would advice against it. Eyekandi:Let her go to where? If you were a child of the second wife, what would you say of your father? God himself is a just God. |
Op you are wise |
Economy hard no be joke |
henryobinna:Vphone the manufacturers actually classified it as a phone. |
The user can also read and reply SMS and use other social networking apps from smartphone remotely. |
Tonydeeb:You can actually send text with the Vphone S8. |
sinaj:Depends |
In a time when we all are talking about bigger screen devices, where most people, me particularly wouldn't want to come near any smartphone that doesn't have at least a 5.0-inch display. For different reasons, I would just say the bigger the better, if you play games on your smartphone, watch movies on it and do other stuff that requires a larger display, these large screen smartphones even tends to feel more high-end in appearance. How times have changed, back in 2011, when Samsung debuted the galaxy note, it was considered to large, and it was just an average 5.3-inch display. Today 5.7-inch devices are considered quite normal, and 5.3-inch phones are actually considered small. Vphone S8 the world’s smallest touchscreen handset The Vphone S8 is one smartphone that has gone against the trending smartphone design when it comes to display size. This device sports a 1.54-inch display (really tiny), and is compatible with both Android and iOS smartphones, the company that made it is working on making it compatible with other platforms too and can be paired with other devices via bluetooth. It's compatiblity with other devices and size may give you the impression that this is a smartwatch like the Samsung Gear S3, right? No it is not. Why? The Vphone S8 can be used as a separate device considering it comes with a SIM card slot (mini SIM). You can use this phone for making a call once you pair it, while the phone has a number of functions built in. SMS function is also available here, of course, and other social networking applications come pre-installed on the Vphone S8. The phone is equipped with a heart rate monitor, and a motion chip. adedayoa2:Hahahahaha.. Can't marry someone younger? Age is but a number, they say. |
Lilimax:Bet why?... You don't understand the post? |
I just pray other governments could copy this idea, especially states in the "south-south" there are alot of agricultural potentials, even in cash crops. I really respect Anambra for their ingenuity, not just in rice farming, but in other areas, other governments should learn. This is the way forward. |
adedayoa2:Nope.. Nothing wrong, even someone younger. Just reacted from the way you sounded, like it was bad to marry someone older. |
firstking01:Na her mate or junior she go marry before? |
Ivoryred:So Nigeria matter is not davido's business, but other peoples business? |
bushguy:How did he speak for the masses? He just give his opinion |
This is funny, this is terrible.. Nigerians can be stupid sometimes. Someone airs his view and you start insulting him? He's page is his own, he can say what he likes. Person no get freedom of speech again? Y'all just chill.. Shuuuu |
Dangote is an excellent business man, by 2020 he would have Nigeria's economy in his pocket, his investments in petroleum refining and power would fetch him billions of dollars, investing in your own country and creating jobs. Senior Man |
jaymejate:Women should say no to the other room? Konji na bastard remember. |
Acidosis:Totally my point of view, a woman's husband should be her pillar, you son or daughter would find love and have a family of their own someday and you would become his/her number 3 or 4, no more number 1. You husband on the other hand is there till death. So women should learn to no love their children more than their husbands. That's my opinion |

ujoatu:Another 2billion USD to be stolen, the industrial park proposed in Delta is nowhere, got a feeling this is a white elephant project. States should invest in practicable things, agriculture, roads and basic infrastructure. |
Byko899:As a leader of a nation like Nigeria, stubbornness is a very important attribute. Why? you could as Margaret Thatcher. The former finances minister spoke of how State Governors pressured GEJ to spend and share money that was supposed to be saved for a time like this, but he bent over now he are struggling. Stubbornness or been strong willed is an attribute of a leader standing firm on what you believe in, there is a saying "If you do not stand for something, you did fall for everything". |
Businessideas:Excellent view, the fact that the previous government did terribly with the huge excess billion of dollars and no investments or savings, has us in this mess. On Dangote being a "Saint" he's a business man and aligns with the side in power to grow his business, that's how it is everywhere. This government should not considered sell off an asset like the NLNG. |
kunlesehan:Welcome |
This is a quick fix for one of the most annoying notifications on Android "insufficient memory" and get more space on your Android. Most andriod users have at least once seen that notification. This problem of "low memory space on android phone" often comes while trying to update apps on Google play store, take new pictures, downloading or when recording a video. This leads to the question, how to clear up memory on Android? I for have this low storage space on Android regularly, it's better your get smartphones with more internal and expandable memory. The Huawei Honor 8 and the ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe could be options. However for those wish to stay with their present smartphone, this tips on getting more free memory on Android is definitely for you. 5 top tips to free memory on Android 1. Delete cached maps. Do you have the habit of caching offline maps in advance, as you keep traveling around remote parts of the world? While this feature is helpful, it can however eat a lot of memory space on your andriod, if you have got half the country saved to your internal storage. In Google Maps, go to Offline areas from the main app menu, tap on an area and you will get the option to delete it from your andriod memory. 2. Delete synced playlists Maybe one of the reasons behind your andriod is running out of memory could be the different type of album collection you have on your andriod. If yes, you can quickly go through the list and delete the ones that you do not need, which in turn will give you some space on your smartphone. In Google Play Music, you can go to Manage downloads from Settings on the main app menu to actually see tracks on your device. Tap the orange tick next to any playlist, album or song to remove it from your smartphone. 3. Delete browser downloads Do you regularly download large files from the web and forget about them? Stock Android offers a Downloads app right in the main app drawer, so that you can quickly check what you have got in there and erase anything that are not required. On Android, you can clear the website and history data from your mobile browsers too, but the storage space savings are unlikely to be important 4. Delete photos and videos Have a huge collection of memorable pictures or 4K video clips but do not wish to delete them? While the easier option to make space on your smartphone would be to go to the gallery app of your choice and just delete some of the images and clips. However, you may want to retain most of them. For Android smartphones, there is Google Photos that offers free up device storage option on the main app menu that scans for pictures and videos that have already transferred to the cloud and deletes the local copies. To do this on Android devices manually, go to Device folders from the app menu, choose a group of pictures, tap the three dots on the menu bar and select Delete device copy. 5. Delete games you are no longer playing Often the worst culprits, games eat a lot of space on your device as far as storage goes. While uninstalling apps can remove some space on your smartphone, you need to select apps of a substantial size to actually clear the decks. It is important to double-check what happens to any saved games you have saved before removing any title. However, if they are in a safe place in the cloud (or you just don’t want them), then erasing games you are no longer playing can be a real space saver. To check out how much storage each game utilizes on Android, you can go to Settings and tap on Apps. gadgetshost..com.ng/2016/09/top-5-ways-to-get-more-memory-space-on-andriod.html?m=1

bbfanboy01:TechCrunch noted the subtle advantages of AirPods and their existence in the Apple ecosystem, mainly the seamless way that the headphones pause music automatically whenever users take them out of their ears, and resume the same track when returned. Wired left impressed with what the AirPods could do for the wireless headphone market, particularly in the hassle-free set-up process, but was noticeably more hopeful for "something that looks and sounds better" than the AirPods to come down the line in the future. For what Apple's made now, the site still noted that the AirPods were "much lighter" than other Bluetooth headphones, and they "nestled comfortably" in the ear. I hope that AirPods don’t scare everyone else off from trying to make Bluetooth headphones. I don’t think they will, because they don’t sound good enough. And these aren’t the ones that will ship in the box with your iPhone 7; you get the standard EarPods when you buy an iPhone, which connect over Lightning now. (There’s also an adapter.) But hopefully Apple has set the bar for how easy it should be to connect Bluetooth headphones, and how responsive they should be. If someone can copy that, and make something that looks and sounds better, we might not miss the headphone jack at all. Apple’s rationale is that the analogue headphone jack was outdated, and removing it allows a bigger battery and the taptic engine that enables the new home button. Besides, the future is wireless, which brings us on to… AirPods The truth is, Apple doesn’t really want you to use Lightning headphones. It wants you to buy the £159 wireless AirPods. The earpieces come in a little case, which when opened sends a signal to your iPhone, allowing them to connect. A sensor in the AirPods can detect when they are in your ear and respond accordingly: put them in and music starts playing automatically. Take one out – to listen to a conversation for example – and the music stops. Back in again and the music starts. It’s quite clever and the sort of thing you couldn’t do with an analogue jack. The AirPods have a battery life of five hours but the case they come in has 24 hours of life. They also have a microphone in, so you can make hands-free calls or, if you tap on them twice, talk to Siri. The sound quality is good, and there’s a lot of potential for this type of technology – it feels one step closer to Joaquin Phoenix in Her. There’s one catch – these are going to get lost, a lot. They felt more secure in my ear than Apple’s usual EarPods, but I still wouldn’t feel comfortable running for the bus or falling asleep on a plane wearing them. Besides the point that you would have to pay separately for them, the Airpods are innovative and would encourage this kind of technology and improvements. |
