AgentXxx: Pressurising yourself that you have to pass is a recipe for failure. First question is have you done enough lessons? Has your driving instructor confirm that you are ready? If Yes to the above, try to visit the test centre with your driving instructor to get familiar with the driving route. Then afterward relax. If the first two questions are NO then you are in for a failure my friend 😌 I quite agree with you here on pressuring myself... there is no need for the pressure.. My liecence was revoked.. not my first time anyways.. Just wanted anyone who has done the test before in Pontefract |

giselle237: Just because someone is registered with a GP practice doesn't automatically mean they're entitled to free NHS hospital treatment. In many cases, we see individuals registering as if they are residents, without disclosing that they are actually visitors. This misrepresentation can lead to complications later on for some. The only free services recognized by the government for both visitors and residents are: 1. Accident & Emergency (A&E) services – However, this does not cover emergency treatment if the patient is admitted to the hospital. 2. Family planning services – This excludes abortions and infertility treatments. 3. Treatment for most infectious diseases, including sexually transmitted infections (STIs). 4. Care for physical or mental conditions resulting from torture, FGM, domestic violence, or sexual violence – Note that this provision does not apply if someone comes to the UK specifically seeking this treatment.
- While someone may expect their situation to improve over the next six months, there’s also the possibility that it could worsen. This can serve as an explanation of her going from self employed to unemployed. - If she is now unemployed let there be enough supporting evidence for her other strengths . - Being unemployed in itself isn't a major barrier; the real issue is majorly lack of home ties. This is important because of her previous visa denials. - if the unemployed will be too hard to explain, you can explain downsizing. Goodluck. Thanks ever so much bro!.. We clearly told them she was on a VISIT. We will try and add in some stuff, landed documents and all.. including letter from other siblings back home! |

giselle237: You have to declare it, if you don’t and they cross check: you’ll get the 10 years ban for telling lies. No 2 ways about it. Better to be safe than sorry. Pls next time don’t dabble into medical care whilst in the UK on a VISIT visa for free as it is majorly for the residents and tax payers. Emergency care upto staying in Accident and Emergency is what is free for visitors. Getting medicines etc is not a free service. I am sure you know this as per the guidelines. Thanks so much Giselle. It was my mom she was not feeling well so we had to attend, I am now confused why they opted for her to register. We will declare it. So what do you reckon with my moving from employed the last time she applied and her 6months Visa to unemployed now. She has stopped her tailoring business in a big scale because of relocation and health condition. But as I just checked now the business is still active on CAC website. What do you think please, even if I maintained she was self employed.. is it a must she must present a business statement of account, alongIde her personal account? She is not sponsoring her but we are.. Please 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏... inputs.. please!! |

missjekyll: Whew! Sounds serious. This is not from personal experience but this link tells you how to appeal https://www.gov.uk/guidance/learn-why-we-would-revoke-or-suspend-your-licence
If you can, only if you can and without naming anyone, mind sharing what led to this? It will be a good learning point for our community.
I learnt yesterday that His Majesty's Prisons are now sponsoring direct from Nigeria too. Every bit of info helps. Thanks |

Is there any rule that says, after 6months visitor visa expires you apply for 2years or can one apply for 5years directly after the expiration of the 6months visa.
Thanks. |

I am still expecting a response on this.. please.. thank you all Chudycharles: Please I need an advice on the following please and your input here will be really appreciated.
My mum, had visited last time on a 6months visa and I want to apply this time for 2years. My questions..
1. I want to now say she is unemployed and we are supporting her but the last time we applied that she was self employed. How do I go about wording it, in her cover letter or letter of introduction..
2. She visited our GP about twice when she was not feeling well, she also got registered and had her NHS number. Do I declare it and what impact do you sense it will have in the application.
Your response will truly go a long way..
God bless us all.
Thanks |

Prettyoye: Dear Gurus in the house..,
Please does one get decision mail for visit visa,
We just did for my mum,she did biometrics last week friday and we got notification that passport has been shipped by DHL....it's all green in the tracking site...but we don't know if it was approved or otherwise yet...
Are we to wait for a mail like how dependants visa work or we just wait to see the passport. If it is a refusal you still get the mail,... if no mail it is approved. |
