Autos › Re: How Reliable Is Auction Export by chukel(m): 7:41am On Oct 20, 2015
This is my problem with auction export. Got this info from their website's FAQs. I live in North America, can I still register?
Yes, you can register from anywhere in the world, as well as purchase vehicles. However all purchased vehicles must be sold for export outside of USA and Canada.

Does it mean these vehicles even the so called clean title are not deemed fit to be used in the US or Canada but only good to be exported to countries like nigeria?

When u think its hard to get a placement for housejob, then residency is a nut case. No harmonized program of placing prospective interns and residents in their appropriate programs. It's disheartening. Most of us have our primaries soon expiring.

9jatriot:
Come on, this allegation is too serious na. That is like saying the main source of income was not remitted from November to May. We were simply living on fringed incomes from other revenue. Could this be why the TSA is been enforced.

I know Diezani was bad, but these allegations are too weighty, too heavy for even me to accept.
Yea, it's serious. But that's a fact coming from Akpabio. Akpabio was not just a governor in the last administration but an insider. If he said that, it's true. That was one of the reasons no one dared talk about auditing NNPC.

Did he really say the boldedhuh

Politics is such a dirty game, I swear. No morals, just dog eat dog. selfish interest etc.
Yes he did. He said diezani did not remit anything to federation account from NNPC for the last 7 months of the last administration. That they only had income from customs, firs and other agencies.

Politics › Re: "For Three Years, I Couldn't Access Minister Of Petroleum " ...Akpabio by chukel(m): 3:29pm On Oct 14, 2015
This has really confirmed Jonathan to be pure, unadulterated woman wrapper. Just imagine what would have happened if he won. What annoys me is that the likes of Akpabio knew all these and kept quiet. He even confessed that the problem of allocation most states have now stemmed from deziani not remiting any inflows to federation account from NNPC for over 7 months. Wat a shame.
Politics › Re: Nigeria Youths Are Not Prepared For Leadership by chukel(m): 3:05pm On Oct 14, 2015
TonyeBarcanista:
Buhari ministerial list contains names of yesteryears politicians, some of them woefully failed in their previous office. While some of us are not happy with the recycling, the question I beg to ask is "Are the youths prepared for leadership?".

The Attitude of Nigeria Youth:
I understand that the youths of Nigeria like their African counterpart are seriously challenged economically. I understand that we are faced with the thought of "when are we taking over?" But looking at the nigerian youth, you will see one that is ready to stake his life and intellect to butt-lick and defend failed politicians with hope that the 'politicians' enroll them into their payroll and/or make them unofficial PA. The youths are scattered on social media from twitter, facebook, Nairaland etc and even on the street with readiness to be eternal stooge for politicians. Is it not a Nigerian youth that carries placard in protest against prosecutors and to show support to politicians that have been indicted for crimes? Which other part of the world can one find such?

Our Youths Have No Zeal To Lead:
The youths keep saying 'give us a chance' but have they shown willingness and zeal to lead? How many of our youths are members of political parties? How many are thinking of picking party forms to vie for political offices? The minimum age to run for Local government chairman, Federal House of Representatives and State House of Assembly offices is 30, For Senate and Office of the Governor, the minimum age is 35. How many of our 30-40years old have shown the zeal and passion to run for these offices? How many have shown the zeal to run for their Local Government Chairmanship elections? How many youths within the 25 and 35 age bracket are passionate about representing their wards as councillors? How then can there be power shift when there is no zeal to lead? Does power come on a platter of gold?

May I remind the youths that Bola Tinubu first ran for Senate(and won) at the age of 40? Rabiu Kwankwaso was first elected Member/Deputy Speaker of House of Representative in 1992 at the age of 36. Ayo Fayose was 43years when he ran for Governor against an incumbent and PDP elite in 2003. At 37, Owelle Rochas Okorocha first ran for Governor of Imo state in 1999(he lost). At 41 he vied for the Presidency in 2003(he lost). He was however appointed Special Adviser to President Obasanjo. At 35 Musliu Obanikoro was the NRC Caretaker Chairman for Surulere Local Government. All these men started WITHOUT a godfather. They however showed the zeal to lead, today they are moving from one office to another.

Our Youths Must Wake Up:
Leadership comes with responsibilities. I am not a fan of 'gifting' people with political offices, but instead I believe in supporting young visionaries for political offices. For young people to lead, they have to join/support political parties of choice. They must intelligently contribute to party growth, show willingness and readiness to lead, and pick forms for elective offices. Don't be discouraged whether you win or lose the election because the zeal will prepare and position you for other positions (appointments) that usually comes AFTER every election. If appointment didn't come, the next for years will definitely provide another opportunity to vie for elective/appointive position. Who says a youth cannot be the a national officer of his party(apart from youth leader)?

Finally, leadership is not a gift, it must be earned. If the youths really want generational shift, they must show willingness to lead. As at now, the youths are just not prepared for leadership.

May God Bless Us All
the above emboldened succinctly describes you and your minions.

3. have the hardware professionally looked at.
4. use whatever error you discover as a bargaining tool

Car Talk › Re: Ops! My Car Now Overheats After Gasket Change! by chukel(m): 6:00am On Oct 07, 2015
@Siena, all u have said is right, but ur grammar is much though. U r in developed nation where almost everything is available and there is certification before most auto technicians can practice. Here it is not so. But that does not discredit what our kazeems are doing here. Kazeems have been grinding valves/ removing metal from mating surfaces for a long time with success. They may not have to do it with the precision u guys have over there. But hey, they produce good results. So many years back, there was this Mercedes Benz a diplomat used in Belgium which developed engine problem. They tried to work on the engine to no avail. We bought it and shipped it down to nigeria. A so called kazeem with no special tools worked on the engine and did the grinding of the valves as they call it. Till today, that engine is tops though car has been parked for some years now. So our kazeems may not do all u listed out, but they bring good results. I accept they abuse factory setting in vehicles too. But sometimes it pays. Example is the radiator transmission cooler bypass in Nissan pathfinder 05-07.
