My homtom ht50 has stopped charging. For some weeks now, it has been touching, I mean I have to place the charger wire and phone in a particular way before it charges. Yesterday the battery was low and phone went off and it refused to charge.

The charger charges other phones perfectly. I don't know what the problem is. I don't know if its a charging port issue. Yesterday Morning, the charging light was showing but it didnt charge, it kept showing 0%. Later, it stopped showing the charging light nor coming up entirely. The phone has not given me any issue since over a year now.

Am so scared of taking to a repairer without really knowing what the problem is. Please help me

The problem is from the charging port, it was formerly loose or weak, that's why u had to bend it a particular way before it stays to charge, but now it is completely damaged that why it's not supplying enough current anymore to charge.
You can bring it for replacement of the charging port, chat / call 08.03829.4998

Wrong, there is something bridging the charging port. A simple brushing the charging legs with methylated spirit or petrol will solve the issue.

According the complainant, if he plug the device the blue light on the charger goes off. The same thing would apply to when you connect the positive wire and negative wire together on such charger. It will go off.

He said it charges, then after a while goes off, I don't think that's bridging issue

please i need help and advice. I plugged in my e63 today and it showed that it was

It seems ur phone is supplying abnormal voltage to the battery while charging, that's why it's behaving like that. It's either u stick with the desktop or u take it to a competent techguy to fix it, though it's not easy to repair such but it still can be repaired

I woke up one morning to charge my dead s8+ it showed that lightening stuff at the top so I thought it was charging and went back to sleep...2 hours later I came back to meet it like that.. only for me to meet it that way..I removed the charger and put it back it started showing one dim light... It's a battery problem, give it to a competent techguy to open it & boost the battery and connect it back. If it doesn't work, then change the battery. If u can't get someone contact me on 08.03829.4998 , I am in Lagos

The problem is most likely from the main board, it's either the antenna cable is disconnected or the connector switch is faulty and needs to be replaced.

It's definitely a board problem & could be difficult to fix, unless you get someone who has a good board then you can buy it and get a competent techguy to assemble it for you

Here's the problems..... My friend woke up last week and found out his Redmi 5A isn't getting network anymore. He borough he phone to me at work. First I though it was a sim problems but after I tried different sim and there was still no network, I decide to run factory reset but the problems persist.
We took the phone to Redmi Office opposite Awolowo Glass House in Ikeja on Wednesday last week. To our surprise the security man there told us they don't repair phone there!!! That's its just an office (you guys should know the place na, its at computer village) he said the only Care Center they have is at Cash&Carry in Ikeja, that even at Cash&Carry they won't repair it. He said they only repair Redmi Note 7 upwards.
Guys we are shock!!! Can anyone be of help
