Am not trying to be funny bro.
But anyone that sees this inhuman treatment to the number of people involved here and the huge amount involved and condone it in anyway must have passion for fraud.
I am yet to see reason in OCTAVO's position here.
Is he for or against what is going on here?

The issue is this; most people watched Dragnet's composition and body language here before they paid in money into Lagtech's Acc.
I paid in money into two separate accounts, one which lagtech denied was not his account, Lagtech kept silent on my mails and post here having told him how urgent it was, a delay which prompted me paying into the account with e mail: lagtech1999@gmail.com. I keep wondering why lagtech contacted me after I have paid in #46,000, denying knowledge of it and I have asked him why he was silent till I made the payment.
I was left with no option than to further process the transaction by paying in to the second Acc which he acknowledged and up till now Lagtech never made any delivery. And since I have demanded for a refund, it has been 'next week, next two weeks, next month and so on for over a year now.
What kept my courage in believing that Lagtech would deliver is Dragnets composition and body language that I made the great mistake of condemning insinuations that Lagtech is a Fraudster.
If I had known that moderators are for banning of site's rule offenders and not to do anything if there is a case of fraud as Dragnet pointed out, I would have been more cautious.

that's a wrong insinuation, there's a limit to what can be done after such unfavorable occurrences under the law and that's quite unfortunate and this thread isn't the best place to discuss such. do I need to mention that I've been hit before and all criminals were apprehended, apprehension is one thing and recovery is another. But I didn't achieve such by wailing on nairaland threads or expecting the admin to do anything, I didn't even create a single post on the matter and that's why it baffles me the way people are reacting here and giving me unnecessary labels. So when I talk and take some actions, I know why I do.

Lagtech is faceless and identity less, nobody knows his real name, nobody knows his real address, but Jimmy his accomplice has a real name, identity and address.
I suggest arresting Jimmy is the surest way to know whom Lagtech is really, and investigations be made on most of Lagtech's claims on what has happened to our money.
You were a moderator here before Dominique, but I did not see much you did to help, rather you were bent on Barning most of the people that tried to raise eyebrow. I think that hampered a lot of efforts.

fyi; nothing can be done if those concerned are not actively involved and if truly they want something done, they should seek legal advice from legal practitioners before taking any step which may be later turn out to be detrimental to their cause.

That shows how vulnerable people are on Nairaland, by this time next year, hundreds of Fraudsters would have made billions of naira on Nairaland.
I should have known this on time that Nairaland is the safest platform for Fraudsters.

I have been thinking about this for long now.
How fast Nairaland has become a platform for fraud, a heaven for scammers and nothing is is being done about it. I am beginning to suspect something; maybe it's a combined business.

This same fraudster was the same person that created a Facebook account with the name of Deputy Senate President; Like Ekweremadu and used it to defraud hundred of people with an Oil Company's logo and forged documents.
I remember paying in #50,000 to secure a job at Saipem.

-There are some shipments that have been pending pick up due to some issues. We will be getting a batch of this with about 12 laptops + some clothing items next week and will deliver as replacement items.

Lagtech is a scammer. He planned to scam scores of people from the onset and all the signs were there:

The use of a fake name: Emmanuel
The use of a proxy Bank Account: Hussein Ademosu (Not his real Name)
The use of a fake minnespolis address
Failure to reveal his real name till today.
Till today no one knows the names or addresses of his mysterious shippers.

All the signs are there for all to see, lagtech is a scammer and his original plan was to go incommunicado on this thread whil using his alternative monikers to cause problems all over the place thereby leading to the closure of this thread.
He only got scared and started sending items in bits when punitive actions were been taken against him and some of his dirty details revealed.

I actually asked him to specify exactly those items are meant for but he said he will let me know before the end of next week.

That is his normal antic, every one here knows him for telling lies.
For over a month now Lagtech has kept telling me he will refund my money tomorrow, tomorrow till now its 4weeks +.
Pls help me ask him why he has refused to refund me till now and he has refused to reply my mails since then.

Good day all. I may not be familiar to you but I am tge supermoderator assisgned to curb cases like this. I've gone through most of this thread, I can understand why most of you are angry and demand answers. This thread has been active for almost two years and for the most part of last year, Lagtech did deliver on his promises. Some orders were not delivered and was reordered, some people were refunded. However, I didn't get to see the part where it all went downhill.

I communicated with Lagtech via email and he said that he is owing 36 members in total and he intends to cut it down to at least 24 by year ending. He said the he hasn't collected money from anyone this year (except for two people) as he wants to sort the mess on ground.

Not wanting to draw us back, I need the names of the the people that are still owed, and those that have already been settled. He did mention an agent of his in Nigeria called Jimmy, have you been able to get access to him?

Dear Dominique, I could not help but laugh at your CONCLUSION that Lagtech delivered on his promise for most of last year. If you had gone through this tread really, your comment would have been guarded by it.
Mediation in crisis such as this is ok but my questions are:
1. Have you asked Lagtech how much capital he had before venturing into this business?
2. What are the measures taken by you to make sure that these monies are quickly recovered from Lagtech?
3. What is the name of the green horn shipper, address and invoices for those shipping transactions?
4. Was there really lost of storage?
5. What confirmation do we have on it?
I hope you will look inward on this whole case fraud and desist henceforth from jumping into conclusions.

I look forward to hearing from him here on this issue of possible fraud against innocent people on his platform. I hope he has studied this tread carefully.

Lagtech is simply a FRAUDSTER.
The above lies he hipped are simply strategy he want to use to make away with our monies. All of a sudden he has manufactured lies, telling us about lost of storage and "The Green Horn Shipper" which never happened, which he never told anybody till now despite all the cries for him to tell us what happened.
I have taken time to go through this tread from beginning and I have come to understand more that Lagtech's intention for creation of this tread is simply to steal people's money and use it for his businesses elsewhere.
Take a good look at the Elitebook Group transaction with this Fraudster, and many other persons including myself.
I think the best thing for us to do now that this fraud is obvious is to unanimously take ACTION; report this Fraud to many appropriate Authorities both in USA and Nigeria, get Jimmy his accomplice reported and arrested and locate Lagtech's Family House as we now know where it is to make some complains and report. And follow up this case unanimously for onward result.
If nothing is done about this FRAUD urgently, we may be here till next 2 years and Lagtech will be busy making MILLIONS with our hard earned monies.

There is no mega fraud I've been aware of that I didnt put an end to as soon as evidence was presented to me. I abhor fraud. If dragnet was aware of what was going on, he certainly didnt inform me about it and none of the victims has contacted me directly to report the case.

Can someone give me a report of what is going on here exactly? Can I have the names of all the people who have been scammed, how the scam was perpetrated, etc? If the evidence is sufficient to convince me that he is scamming people, I will ban him permanently. So far I have only seen the allegations in the posts that mentioned me and those on this page but no details of what he did. Please tell me your stories.

As Lagtech has heaped the above tons of lies to play down this clear fraud going on here in the past two year, I call on you to read through the tread from beginning till this stage and now asked lagtech the needful questions.
Lagtech never explained any of the above lies he gave as reasons to anyone here despite the cries and calls for him to explain what has happened.
Lagtech took people's money and invested it in his numerous businesses which continued to generate millions for him till date.
No one should take Lagtech's lies for anything more than lies told to cover up fraud and scam against innocent people; most are startups, whose business went down till now.
I urge you once again, go through lagtech's posts here from beginning and see things by yourself.

That will never happen, I said what I said out of experience.
Over the years, I have been wrongly on the other side; preaching for patience but as things get worse by the day, that is enough to come to a conclusion that Lagtech is never sincere for one day.
I won't be surprised if Lagtech launches a new Range Rover Sport with the proceeds he has made from our hard earned money he allegedly deposited in his Current Accounts. Just calculate the total amount of money he stashed away from us and continued his pranks close to two years now.
If you have received any item from him lately, it is the proceeds your money generated for him that he used to buy the item(s) he sent to you.
One thing we all should know is that Lagtech has no remorse. If the pressure put on him did not go that far by reports to the authorities and exposure and disclosure of his residence address, no attempt would have been made by him to listen to our cries all these long while.
I have not said anything here based on sentiment of any type.
If any one here think I am not right advising that we should run from possible calamity waiting to befall, then let that person put his hard earned money in Lagtech's hands again and see what happens. I believe Seun is not happy seeing us cry and lose our hard earned money. He is equally Human, and as gentle man of his kind, there is no way he should not frown at Lagtech.

It baffles me how pessimistic some people are, but as for me, I'm an optimist who believe that things are getting better and so it is for me and every other optimist out there.
Pessimism does not pay, it is true that we have suffered a lot here; items not delivered for a year+ but by God's grace; things are getting better for all that believes and does not have any objection to it.

Sir, I know you are in this business and you will agree with me that in this type of our business, Shipping doesn't go smoothly and straight as one would expect atimes. You may assure a customer that his item(s) will arrive at a particular date and Custom or other things will delay it; and most customers may not understand that it is not you that is responsible for such setback.
I think Lagtech is carefully working harder to ensure that everything goes well as it is; THAT I KNOW FOR SURE.

I get your point sir, to be honest with you; things are not stuck as it were. We have felt some progress within the past weeks as some pick ups and refunds are being done.
Now; another Shipper :Chinos. But I believe Chinos will deliver this/next week according to my investigations.
I am not smiling at Lagtech now, rather am putting pressure on him to do the needful.
I believe he (Lagtech) is working harder to make sure every item is delivered and refunds are made.
