Actually had coolant in d system(don't know which type-green coloured though), but since d car was worked on water has been used to run the radiator. Pls what type of coolant is recommended?

Good morning members of the house.pls i need ur help on the above issue. My car overheated,resulting to burnt top gasket,the cause was due to the fans- suddenly stopped working. The top gasket has been replaced, and new functional engine fans in place. However i noticed the overheating still persisted, especially in d afternoon,with occasionally stalling and jerking of the car,especially when the AC is on, and water in d radiator dries up. Recently, the car jerks and stop when driving in a hold up,or after been in a hold up for a while.they have checked the radiator- no leakage,checked the hoses-no leakage,radiator caps-fitting. Pls Nissparts, Ikenna and Co,come to my rescue. Thanks

It will even be of benefit to the SUV. Its gonna prevent mixing of atf and coolant fluid which will ruin the transmission. That vehicle had a class action law suit for that defect and one way to prevent such damage is radiator bypass.

Check list evaporator/freezer, expansion valve, low AC gas, dirty condenser/ dryer, and probably a weak compressor, or faulty relay......best of luck

I also was considering Mitsubishi Montero 97 to 2002 alongside because its high & best for bad roads here.Thats another car that's cheap & looks great that people also disdain.What do you think about this one. Does it have engine or electrical or gear problems.Which would you pick among the two.

. A little contribution as regards d Montero. Guess u have already made up ur mind on d quest, however Montero is a war horse....i have mine now for 5 years but still prefers it over my X-terra(04) and Honda civic(08). Yeah, sounds weird but its true.....has never sons day broken down on me......parts are affordable and available..... Fuel consumption is just there ( for a 3.5litre v6 4wd).....yeah, d only snag is d smoking engine..... Wanted to change d engine but was advice not too.....advice yo change d rings and valve oil seal.....yet go gir it though....u can gv d Montero sports a thought.... Its worth it.
