It's an unarguable fact that ladies will always find you unattractive if you are broke.
That's how the saying 'a BROKE man deserves no p$ssy' came about.

A short story.

Two men were trying to get one girl. Both of them were handsome, had good characters and were of the same age.
One was wealthy, while the other was broke and depended on his monthly salary to survive.

The wealthy man was always sending this girl gifts and taking her on dates to luxurious restaurants.
The other man who could barely afford a three square meal daily, couldn't do ⅒ of what the other man was doing. The best gift he could give her was a fancy slippers which he managed to save up for after starving for two days.
Now both men were oblivious of each other. Both of them were just trying to impress the girl in their own capacity.
Regardless, it was the girl's choice to make.

I'm sure you already know who she chose. You guessed right. She chose the wealthy man.

Is the girl wrong for choosing the wealthy man? No
Is the wealthy man wrong for buying her expensive things? No
Is the broke man wrong for trying to shoot his shot? No

Moral lesson: An ant can not beat the elephant in the game of size. The elephant will always win.

Hardwork is not the key to Wealth. Smart work is. The broke man was hardworking but he wasn't working smart. The wealthy man (before he became wealthy) knew he hard to work smart.

Here are 4 things that helped the wealthy man acquire wealth faster than 99% of his mates.

1. He got rid of bad debts.

Before he started building wealth, he knew that he wouldn't go far if he didn't clear all the debts he owed. So the first thing he did was to free himself from that burden by clearing his debts.

2. The next thing he did was to minimize spendings.

Basically, he spent 1/3rd of his monthly income, while he saved the rest. He cut off unnecessary expenses and only spent money on what he needed.

3. He invested in 'sure' things.

Already he had lost a lot of money to some get-rich-quick schemes when he was trying to get rich quickly but he soon realized how foolish he was. So instead of investing in those get-rich-quick schemes like 86FB that we have today, he started investing in sure things like agriculture and real estate. It was not long before his investments started bringing him lots of return (money).

4. He had multiple sources of income.

He was a smart worker. He knew that having only one income source was dangerous, so he started working multiple side jobs. Some were weekend jobs while he worked his main job during the week.

His hard work paid but his smart work paid even better and soon he had a pool of wealth.

Why am I telling you this story?

The truth is many broke men are hard workers but not smart workers. They're just like the other guy who depended on his monthly salary to survive.
Your salary can not make you rich, know this and know peace.
It's even more easier in this digital age to make money, there are legitimate online side hustles that you could start to earn you more money.

1. Podcasting: literally anyone can start their own pod cast these days, all you need is a phone and a quiet place. If you enjoy talking, podcasting is a good shot for you. You can make money from it through ads, sponsors, products promotion, e.t.c

2. Blogging: If you love writing, blogging is definitely a great choice for you. You can blog about anything literally. It could be about pets, relationships, cars, jobs, food, anything you're passionate about.

3. Become a translator: Do you know two or more languages? Great. You can get paid really cool cash to translate texts or audio from one language to another.

A lot of persons want white collar jobs, while some really love the idea of waking up, getting dressed and heading out to the office. Truly, there's nothing wrong about wanting to have a stable 9 - 5 job.

Crime / SCAM! Don't Fall For It! Learn How To Avoid Online Scammers. by Chychee(f): 6:49pm On May 12, 2022

Before jumping into that online opportunity your friend told you about, sit down and read this to avoid falling into the hands of scammers.

1. BE WEARY OF TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE OFFERS

Offers like invest #2,000 and get #20,000 in 2 hours are most likely to be scam. If what they claim is true then why don't they keep investing and investing their money. Think twice before continuing.

2. DON'T ACT UNDER PRESSURE

Scammers pressure you to act immediately. They want you to act before you have time to think. Don't fall for it. Never act under pressure. Legitimate business owners will give you time to think and make a decision. Anyone that pressures you to pay or give them your personal information is a scammer. RUN!

3. AVOID UNCLEAR/ COMPLICATED OFFERS

Real, legitimate offers are clear and simple enough for people to understand.
If they provide you with unclear information, or try to make the offer look complicated, that's a warning that they are just after your money. RUN MY DEAR, RUN!

4. NEVER FORGET TO DO A RESEARCH

Before jumping into that opportunity, do a research. You can ask your friends or family about it, chances are that they know one or two things about it.
You can also check the internet. Do a comprehensive research on the brand or business. Do they have a social media presence and are they active on social media? Do they have any engagements? What are their followers saying about the business? A simple online research will tell you a lot about the business.

You can also do a search with the name of the business on Google with words like 'scam', 'legit', 'complaints' to see if there are others who were scammed.

E.g 'is Jumia legit?'
'is Forex a scam?'

Finally, if you feel that a business isn't legitimate, do not buy from/ invest in / sign up for whatever they offer.

It's always better to be safe than sorry.
