i was using hp core i5 2.5ghz 8gb ram 3rd generation before ( i bought it 85k )
but that laptop cant stand the heat i had to sell it ( you can check my previous thread to see where i sold it )

now i am using dell workstation core i7 3.4 ghz 4th generation 8gb ram 500gb radeon R9 m200x series
because if you are using low end laptop or dekstop you will regret doing animation bro
now start with small animaton

@Singapore1, what model of dell workstation is that? And what's the price range? I intend getting one but I don't know if a basic gaming laptop with dedicated graphics will do the job. I want to use it for mainly video editing and a bit of gaming.

Victor101 you were right, my account was suspended for circumvention or is it circumnavigation? Lol. Accepting to work outside upwork (someone asked for my Skype id and I gave him) and accepting a spamming job. Someone hired me to write reviews like that, that particular day. They suspended me the moment I told the hirer the amount I wanna charge him.
I have read their policy now.

Is it good to be hired for a work on upwork and you take the work to other freelancing websites that you pay cheaper for whoever you hire? Because that's what I'm about to do.

Also, how do I pay someone that I hired?

Yes, you can. Do not be discouraged. But you'll have to avoid bidding for hourly jobs, because you'll be required to download the time tracking desktop app.

Working with your mobile is mainly possible in the writing niche. If you have an android smartphone, on your browser, enable desktop view and navigate the site. You can also download the mobile app from playstore.

Download google docs or MS word too and use for your typing and writing, although I prefer the former because of its formatting tools. Also download skype app from playstore.

I'll start from No 3. Don't start a job unless offer had been made and the offer is what you are suitable with.
No1. Expire, means you must accept the job on or before 21st April. Accept only if you've understood the job fully well, as you may need to renegotiate deadline or price.
No2. Yes, every hourly contract have a weekly time limit set by the client.
No4. Yes you should always communicate with your client. Project deadline can be renegotiated.
No5. No Penalty! But you must decline and click a reason.

Hello guys, Pls I need to understand something... When a client sends me an offer, and it says it expires by 21st April, does it mean, its the date me accepting the offer or not expires or actually when the job when started ends?

And then secondly what does it mean when a client sets limit like 20hours per week?

Thirdly, can I start a job when an offer is not yet sent? But the client has communicated with me and has given me the project details.

Fourthly, can project deadline be renegotiated privately with client if workload is too much? I'm asking because an additional job offer was sent today and I dont know if I can tell the client about extending it.

And lastly, what penalty lies ahead if I dont accept an offer.

Please help explain these to me.

Now you guys are really out to make me go through the whole of this thread; and I trusted you guys with everything I ever had in my Freelancer life. Do you even know that the whole thread is like over 160 pages? I mean who does that? Read a thread of over 160 pages?

Trust me, I got to know about freelancer from a friend and I quickly rushed to open a FL account. I bid on jobs, and exhausted my bids without winning any. I was bidding without writing proposals. Smh and I ended up abandoning the account.

I fortunately later stumbled on this thread and at first, felt reluctant to read, seeing that the pages were over 150. But then, I wanted to learn and succeed, so I ended up reading ALL the pages. I must say I'm really grateful to Ladywriter and all who have contributed to this thread. I'm now adequately equipped with the NEEDED knowledge to get started. Now, I feel good to go. Only waiting for a laptop.

So, just take your time, read the pages, one at a time. Yes, sometimes you may get tired or bored, if thats the case, close the thread and continue the next day. However, you can use the search bar to filter any particular info that you may need urgently on the thread.

But trust me, it will be better if you go through all pages. With the fire and zeal in me, I was so eager to learn. Maybe because I've once been there and didn't succeed . I finished going through ALL the pages in 1 week! Yea, you heard me right. Sometimes, I read till 2.00am sef Who doesn't wanna make dollars. So, just try. Hope this helps.
