There are reports that the All Progressives
Congress, APC, in Rivers State may have
settled for Hon. Honourable Asita O. Asita
as the running mate to the party’s
candidate, Dakuku Peterside.
The choice of Asita may have come after
many weeks of deliberations to zone the
position to the upland area.
Asita, who is a Federal Lawmaker like
Dakuku, has total loyalty to the state
Governor, Rotimi Amaechi.

Born on December 31, 1966, Honourable
Asita hails from Ahaoda-West Local
Government area, the Orashi region of
Rivers State and same constituency with
the former Governor of the state, Dr.
Peter Odili.
He was part of the pool of young
politicians recruited and groomed by
Amaechi.
He was a Commissioner under Odili’s
tenure before he joined the Federal
House of Representatives in 2007 up till
date.
In the meantime, there are strong
indications that the PDP governorship
aspirant, Nyesom Wike is considering a
kalabari (riverine) as his Deputy Governor.
The issue of upland and riverine
dichotomy plays huge role in the politics
of Rivers State.

Governorship candidate of Labour Party in Rivers State, Prince Tonye Princewill,
has declared that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will lose Rivers State because
of the disorganised state of the party caused by its governorship candidate and
former minister of state for education, Nyesom Wike.
Princewill, who hitherto was a governorship aspirant in PDP, also described the
choice of Yemi Osinbajo as running mate of the All Progressives Congress (APC)
presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, a smart move.
He added that President Goodluck Jonathan would have won easily if the Rivers
State governor, Chibuike Amaechi was picked as Buhari's running mate because he
would put a dent to the anti-corruption posture of APC presidential candidate.
Princewill who defected from the PDP and emerged governorship candidate of
Labour Party, condemned the humiliating treatment meted to other PDP aspirants
under the influence of Wike.
Princewill said: "Looking at PDP. I decided not to support Nyesom Wike simply
because by my opinion he cannot win. It is just pointless to me that if Wike loses
and APC wins, we are sitting there and watching it happen.

This money can give scholarship to 5000 children... Rogues.

Amaechi is obviously one cheap liar. So Wike stole 3.5b yet:

1) Mr Amaechi retained him as Chief of Staff

2) Mr Amaechi made him his governorship campaign director

3) Mr Amaechi recommended him for appointment as minister and

4) Mr Amaechi never reported him to police/EFCC

When was Wike the chief of staff and campaign director? Was it before the contract wad given or after. Use uour brain, not your shoulder.

A man who has been a speaker for 8years, and 7years as a Governor, and once can say he has been dumped, or career is finished. Over 15years in Government?
