4llerbuntu: But lets be honest, what is wrong with windows phone?

NOTHING!!! its nice, its fine and sexy. if u are not the type that wants to tinker with software, Windows Phone is a very good choice.

infact @ Joanana i am personally recommending windows phone to u. i dont think u have seen them upclose. too sexy
very fast, no lag.... what else do u want in a phone that is not there?

u pple sef.... angry

Make moonraker catch you. grin

Seriously though. The only reason I own only droids is because I've been spoiled by too much screen real estate. Typing on screens below 5" is painful angry

Dikachiii: Good afternoon guys, please my S2 takes forever to charge both on pc and wall charger. Like 12 hours+ and I haven't even loaded the JB I downloaded cos I've not been able to charge up to 80% which is a prerequisite. Guys, please what might be wrong?

Your cord is most probably the cause. Happened to me last month. Battery level will be dropping even while charging angry

Nice, I usually put my backlight on minimum indors to save juice, but I have to manually increase brightness outside, any ideas how I can automate this? I know it has to do with light sensors...

If your phone doesn't have auto mode, get control centre and turn on auto brightness
Phones / Re: Android, Anyone? Part II by ciphoenix: 6:12pm On Aug 22, 2013
Leopantro: Here are a few examples to start with

1.Automatically display
music menu when you plug
in your headset.

-Context>State>Headset
Plugged.
-Tasks>Add Task>Action
Categories>App>Load
App>Music Player.

2. Automatically increase
brightness while phone
rings!! (specially helpful in
the sun!!)

-Context>Event>Phone>Phone
Ringing.
-Tasks>Add Task>Action
Categories>Display>Display
Brightness>set level to 220
-(add another task)>Action
Categories>Tasker> Wait>15
seconds
-(add yet another
task)>Action
Categories>Display>Display
Brightness>set level to your
normal level.

3. Keep full brightness
while charging the phone!!
-
Context>State>Power>Source
set
My phone already does these tongue
Adds a media oriented homescreen when you plug in a headset

5. Using sleepbot app
automatically to track your
sleep time and calculate
your sleep debts!!

-Context>Time>From
23.00>To 05.00
-Tasks>Action Categories>3rd
Party>Sleepbot>Punch set To
IN
-Task>Action
Categories>Net>Mobile
Data>set off
-Task>Action
categories>Audio>Silent
Mode>Set ON
-Tasks>Action
Categories>Tasker>Wait>5
Hours 55 Minutes
-Tasks>Action Categories>3rd
Party>Sleepbot>Punch set To
OUT

This is funny though. I have no hope of paying the debts. Why worry grin

I respectfully beg to disagree with u sir. To me, there's no such thing as a stupid question, there are rather stupid answers.
if u consider a question too cheap for you to answer, skip it and scroll on. Another guy might might be magnanimous enough to answer it. And besides, those u think know it already, might not know it as u think and might be praying silently that someone answers it. (as someone I know would say) Chairs!!,

No I do not think it is a cheap question though basic.

It has been addressed countless times on this thread.

lmao @ friend's brother's grin

Lord_Reed:

Yeah well, still would have been great to see it in the flesh, the Ubuntu dual function is a solid concept and the Edge an impressive piece of hardware, gonna keep my fingers crossed that the concept works well when it becomes commercial.

"Impressive piece of hardware" is putting it lightly.

Too bad it didn't make the cut.
Who knows if this might have been a move to own related patents.
Just thinking out loud

no.

you just spoofed an already connected device's MAC

this essentially what all those fancy pants apps do. why bother when 3 or four cmds will do same much faster sef

this works for those networks that assign u an ip and need u to login to access the net.

The weak point as i tried to point out earlier is the 1st line. How the fook do u connect to the network?
the tools for this are much more advanced to sniff AUTH sessions and get in.

That's always been the problem. Connecting.

Seems it's just PCs for now embarassed
