That's what beats me, he made the first move. He wasn't much of a talker then, and he isn't talking now.

I recently met this guy that I like and the feeling is quite mutual. But he doesn't say more than one word sentences.
Even his mails are that "long" too. The only thing I know he likes is football which I don't give a damn about. Please guys in the house, how do we ladies get you to open up and communicate? Or is he playing hard to get?

very unnecessary. So many do it to please their folks and get their 30 seconds of fame. and then suffer the financial mess afterwards.

I know someone who did just that. And from her story, I can say one or 2 things.
It wasn't something she expected to get serious. Afterall, how many ladies will tell u their ages? (dear mama included)
And then when it got serious, she felt it was a good idea to let him know: because she loved him and wanted him to know.
Well, dear loverboy came up with all sorts of allegations and took off.
Guys if a lady lets u know after all that time, doesn't it tell u she truly loves u? Age is nothing but a number. That was her only offence, he said. And could never trust her again. Finally what was the "ammended" age difference? He was still older by about 6 months.
Annoyingly, she's yet to get over him after 3 years

who says men don't cry. They do , secretly cos it's unmanly to cry. But ladies do so more openly. More often than not, they are the ones who gives their hearts.
