Getting an insider in LAG is the best shsot for now. On your passport seized, I don't know your agent route/role which lead to the circumstances but in as much I wanna blame him for your experience I still will hold back words. However I'll advise that rather than wail or get into quarrels with your agent, you should channel that strength on your new passport and n change in your DOB. Honestly it might not be easy but all the best

I have serious issue with my passport ight now and I am confused on how to go about it.

Firstly, sometime end of 2019, I applied for Canada Tourist visa through an agent. Did capturing at the VFS in Lagos alongside passport submission. At the end of the day, I was given a collection slip. I went back to base. After some weeks a notice from the embassy came into my mail telling me that my application was fraudulent, so the agent suggested we cancel the process which I agreed. I waybilled the passport collection slip which was given to me at the VFS to my agent.

Since then, haven't laid hands on my passport. Now, I want to renew and also make a change of data (DoB) as my passport has expired one year ago.

I am putting this here, for the house to give me the best and effective advice on how to go about this in order to save cost and also time.

Again, if I can get a reliable insider from NIS especially in Lagos cos I'm in Lagos currently, I will so much appreciate it.
