BABANGBALI:Please kindly shut up if u have nothing to say. Stop glorifying an obvious idiot! |
dhantey324:Quite massive. This is just for one store. Imagine when the other stores in other states open shortly. It is a wholly indigenous company and should be encouraged. |
jaymejate:what abt shoprite? |
Go drop ur CV at the Yenegoa Store. HR people will pick from their and send to Admin Office in PH. Vacancies are closed in Yenagoa for graduates but I am sure more vacancies will come up as the other stores are opened in PH and other towns. |
Marketsquare is a grocery retail destination in Nigeria with a vision to provide a superior retail experience for the Nigerian consumers. Marketsquare provides consumers a place they can they can call their own - a place where they can get food and household items in a world class shopping environment. A place they can "Find more and Pay less". The company opened their first store in Yenagoa in December 2015 and is currently developing three others in Port Harcourt to be opened in various times during the First Half of 2016. Subsequently 15 stores will be opened over the first 5 years of operations across different parts of Nigeria. At the moment, all the company's products are locally sourced, creating employment directly for over 300 people and indirectly for over 1000 people. The numbers are expected to grow astronomically as they expand their footprint across the country. Whether you are looking for fresh fruits and vegetables, cooked food or bread, cakes and pastry or you are looking for milk, eggs, canned and other packaged food, breakfast, cereals, cosmetics, commodities, detergents, baby products or other domestic tools and appliances, you will find this at your neighbourhood Marketsquare. Marketsquare will be an acronym for the traditional African open markets that Nigerians have grown accustomed to but will compete favorably with the International retail destinations such as Shoprite and Walmart.

Mods please correct the heading. I meant to write "prospective" |
I have never made any comments on the renewed agitations for Biafra. I want to comment on a neutral basis, not for or against. I just want to be clarified by Political gurus on the implications of the following issues I will itemize should Biafra by any chance materialize. Those who know me well, know that I am a naturally curious person that likes to imagine things before they happen. 1. Will the whole Nigerian governors in Biafran territory relinquish their posts or continue as governors in Biafra under another country's(Nigeria) party? 2. Will all Nigerian senators and house of rep members from Biafran territories be required to come "home" and continue as senators and reps? 3. All our accounts in Naira in different banks how will it be converted to Biafran money? What if you have an account in a Nigerian bank that does not have a branch in Biafra, for example, Sterling Bank has no branch in Ebonyi. Does it mean those in Ebonyi with Sterling Bank account now have domiciliary accounts in Nigeria? 4. What of Nigerian federal workers of Biafran origin, will they be required to resign and come home? What of the Nigeria federal workers working for federal government owned offices in Biafra territory( Eg a Yoruba man working in NTA Enugu or a Hausa man working in Federal Civil Service Enugu? 5. What of privately owned companies and multinationals? Will staff of say Unilever in Aba branch with their head office in Lagos become expatriate workers in the same company? 6. In terms of boundary, what if Ijaw, Ikwerre, Urhobo and Efik who have repeatedly refused that they are part of Biafra choose to remain in Nigeria, will Biafra now be like Burundi and Lesotho, two countries inside another country in South Africa. How will Nigerian map be drawn to accommodate the remaining SS parts with SE(Biafra) erased? Waiting for political science gurus in the house to educate me and hope I am not naughty with my questions. Like I said before, I am neither for or against Biafra agitations. I just want peace in the world.... I have never made any comments on the renewed agitations for Biafra. I want to comment on a neutral basis, not for or against. In these days of unemployment and difficulty in getting good jobs, would you leave your wife who is yet to conceive and move to another town 5 hours away for a good paying job? The job in question involves weekends too and your wife can not join you too as she is in a federal govt work. Let us discuss it constructively. For mature minds please. |
Lol. Wht did introvert do to you? |
This guy seems to be doing well for himself after his foot ball career.

HungerBAD:When u see a good thing, don't try so hard to ascribe it to ur buhari. Buhari my foot! Was ur buhari in power when those street lights were installed 2 years ago? Sorry to burst ur bubble further, the present governor installed diesel generators that those street lights run on. They switch on automatically at night and off in the morning. Well, most people never believe anything good can come out of this sleepy town of Abakaliki. Though I am not a fan of the town, I couldn't help snapping and sharing some of these pics I took tonight on my way home.
