Awolowo is also the chief cause of indigenisation of the office & position of Vice Chancellor of Nigerian Universities. VCs were to be elected not to push academic excellence of the computer age, but to enhance TRIBAL QUOTAS. Awolowo is also the REASON why Nigerians can vote anywhere in Nigeria, but cannot be voted for outside their TRIBAL ENCLAVE. (Jos crisis). Attempts by military regimes to post military Governors to GOVERN outside their TRIBES has not changed this mindset. North for Northerners, East for Easterners, West for Westerners, everyone loot Nigeria into your TRIBE. And this BREEDS corruption. Awo's TRIBALISM is the ROOT CAUSE of corruption in Nigeria. |
simpleseyi: Let Jonathan try any nonsense with a northern, then you will know who owns Nigeria. The President will ALWAYS DO what is RIGHT. Nigeria is his constituency. |
kingoflag: If all I'm reading is the mentality of most Nigerians then you guys a re truly sick and are supposed to be avoided in real life because you see nothing wrong in cheating. Agent of re-colonisation |
5columnist: "Apple" time. God knows who does the bidding for g7 hotel crew. They've not attacked President Jonathan in Nairaland in the last few days. Change of tactic? |
Nollywood is reaching the whole world audience today. Baba Sala truly entertained local audiences |
Christ Jesus is Very, VERY relevant to this and every generation of mankind. |
The ROGUES and their local accomplices, that loot Africa DAILY, then turn around to continually CREATE derogatory opinions of Africa. Corruption in Africa can never reach anywhere near the trillion dollar CORRUPTION in the United States, or Japan & Italy where CORRUPTION is officially part of their GDP. |
kingoflag: You Nigerians are truly evil.angel, kindly state your own angelic nationality. |
naijaborn001: They all look 30years and older though, but good job anyways"Na apc de worry you. |
chukwudi44:Which other story do you expect from COPY & PASTE armchair journalists, that write the result of football matches, including the ones they couldn't know was postponed. |
oduz: A Nation of Cheaters would remain backward for long, and loose respect in the committee of NationsJust shaaarrraaappp |
WINCH ! |
7:10pm? |
I've gotta see a 2nd opinion. |
Apart from Joseph Yobo & Andres Iniesta, is any from Nigeria 99 still playing? Ronaldihno is no longer playing. You're just too lazy to even read newspapers. |
Not a Christian practice |
COPY & PASTE |
Many, around the world, will not accept the real 666 whenever it commences. |
This your gallant Boko Harem should have conquered and occupied Abuja by now. |
NEVER |
Tells so much of hell-Rufai himself. |
Intelligent |
solomon111: True, the agricultural sector is silently becoming a behemoth.Adeshina is obviously working to meet domestic demand, first. Rice, Fish, and for the first time in history, YAM harvests of 2012 were in the market until September 2013. If this outcome is achieved in five consecutive years, Ade's plans B & C may become visible. |
Akolo Peters: one day d economy will right d wrong automatically witout depending on some leadersSir, I take God beg you, do you expect Nairaland tribal economists to understand this? |
Oghos1:Especially those that will refuse to factor in Nigeria's increasing agricultural produce, which impacts directly on 80% of the population. Its also convenient to overlook the fact that 90% of the economy of SA is in the hands of 2%, and doesn't help their people. |
Jabioro: Am cryin ! Many false datas, statement and parameter are r being put 2geda 2 deceive us..NAIRALANDER I pity dis nation. Not false, if you can take the time to linearise available data. |
taharqa: By d way, d so-called Prof is wrong. It is d non-Oil, and not d Oil, sector that hv been driving Nigeria's growth in recent yearsThe non-oil sector will accelerate (V), by surprising co-deficient multiplier, when reasonable power supply pushes aggregate demand (D). And that's exactly the agenda President Jonathan is pursuing, without saying so, obviously to minimise sabotage. Emphasis on MINIMISE. |
Arosa: I'm scared!Of what? No Traditional Ruler in Nigeria will ever call for revolution. The one naive C K Nzogwu started, has produced more corrupt generals than the CIVILIAN POLITICIANS he called ten-percenters. National Conference may provide the handle on these intractable issues. There's hope. Ghana must learn from Nigeria now, same as Nkruma learnt from Zik. |
Scintillating on the pitch, from a brilliant mind. |
jmaine: My political antenna tells me the renegades invalids called the G-7 are already in the APC fold.Gov Amechi is using the APC propaganda to INTIMIDATE the Supreme Court, that is very likely to cancel the second term election in Rivers State, which Amechi fast-forwarded to 3 years and 7 months, instead of the constitutional 4 years. And PDP strategists have tactically suspended Amechi, which means that if the SUPREME calls for new election, Amechi has no party. Do you now see why Amechi mobilised the Obasanjo Governors to harass the president & PDP leaders to lift that suspension? Unfortunately for them Nigeria is bigger than Gen & President Obasanjo combined. Even Babangida has his own personal interest, to help his son's political ambition, which is facing serious challenge in Niger State. And in Rivers State, Prof Wole Soyinka's PIRATES are nothing, when Ateke & Asari's militants come to town. This is N I G E R I A. |
No PDP governor can endure the DICTATORSHIP of Tinubu & Buhari combined. Thats too much for a Nigerian. |
