Unfortunately not yet.

It's required some forms of capital which i didn't have at the moment.

We tried to source for funds but unfortunately We didn't get the funds.

Am still trying to put a team together so we can make this a reality.

Am building a network of professionals so we can come together stronger so we can start and show to the world that we can actually build locally and go globally.
I see. Did you ever build a prototype? And what is your academic qualification, if I may ask?

Dear All.
I have this dream of producing made in Nigeria electric motor and pumps.
Single phase, 3 phase respectively .

I have studies about electric motors and pumps and what it takes to make them and we can locally source these materials in Nigeria effortlessly.

Materials Required
1. Body/pump head - Usually an alloy of cast materials like bronze, lead etc.- Can be gotten locally
2. Rotor - This is usually galvanized shaft machined by lathe machine to precision.- Can be gotten locally
3. Stator - This is usually made of copper coils wound to for windings. - Can be gotten locally
*4. Bearings - For now we can source from foreign partners like SKF, etc.*
5. Impella - This can be pre-cast,- either fiber, plastic, stainless or galvanized.

Let's come together let start producing these things locally and this will bring about a strong industrial revolution in Nigeria and Africa in general.
Sounds like a great idea. Did this plan ever take off?

Thank you sir, he is fine and the ball is not swelling again, after the surgery on that Tuesday, we were discharged on Wednesday so we went there for dressing on Friday and the next Monday then on Thursday doctor checked him and removed the plaster so they gave us January 8 for appointment just to check him but he is fine and the surgery part is healing fine, if a person did not look very closely, you will not believe he did surgery. I really appreciate you sir.
Almighty God will continue to bless you sir.

Great! Glad to hear he is healing fine. Good thing the surgery was done during the holiday period, so he has enough time to rest and fully recover before school resumes next year. You can get him these things for me (I'd credit you right away). Two crates of large eggs, one large pack of full cream peak milk powder 900g, and a big pack of Golden Morn 800g, and anything else if change remains. For the crates of eggs, you can buy one crate now, then buy the other crate when the first one gets finished, so that they don't go bad.

PS: These items are ONLY for the recovering child. Not for general consumption by everyone else.

Thank you.

Good morning sir, I really appreciate your assistance, Almighty God will continue to bless you and your family. I went to Ikorodu general hospital yesterday for the cost of the operation which the doctor gave us 2nd of December. The doctor wrote the operation type in a paper and told me to go to account department.

The account department wrote N110,000 on the paper, they said that they can only give me the account number on the operation date which is 2nd of December. They said the cost of drugs and injection will be known on the operation date.

I look up to God and my Nairaland members, God bless us all.

Hello! I have just sent you N110,000 for the medical operation of your son.

Kindly use it solely for the operation and not for anything else. Do not use it to buy food or to settle any bills/debts.

I pray for a successful medical procedure and quick recovery.

Thank you sir, since we have been transferred to surgical department, we have seen 4 doctors on each appointment date and each doctor checked it and all information is computerized but I don't know the actual doctor that will do the surgery until that day comes. Thank you sir for your support, I really appreciate it Almighty God will continue to bless you and your family. Amen

Hello! I hope you are doing fine, and I hope your son is doing great too. Are you still using the same Zenith bank account you used the last time? If yes, you do not need to resend the account details.

Also, I was asking the other time if your son still feels the testicular pain, and if his testicles are still larger in size than normal.

Thank you for your assistance sir, please sir I want to remind you concerning the operation date, the doctor has fixed 2nd of December for the operation and the bill is N110,000 not including drugs. I asked for the cost of the drugs they said they can only give me the cost on the operation date and the account to pay the N110,000 will also be given me on the surgery date.
Please sir, I don't want to be helpless on that day sir, God will be with us sir.
Thank you sir.

Hello, yes, I did see your previous message. Thank you for drawing my attention to it again. Sure, you will not be stranded that day.

Just to be clear, the surgery is for inguinal hernia, right? Does your son still feel the testicular pain? And, the doctor who would be performing the operation, was he/her the one that made the initial diagnosis of inguinal hernia? If it was some other doctor that made the diagnosis, did this current doctor confirm the diagnosis?

I have attached 2 more evidence sir
Thank you very much sir.

Okay, good. You can delete the details now.

From your comment earlier, where you did a little price analysis, we can do the following:

Full gas that will last a month (+ so your son can use hot water to bath) = 7,200
Half bag rice = 36,000.
The garri you talked about = 13,000
Your son’s school fee = 23,000
We can do tomatoes + pepper = 15,000
The balance can cover miscellaneous expenses like transportation.

You can then use your salary for this month to buy beans and other things to keep the house running.

You can check your account as I just sent money to cover all of the listed items above.

Hopefully this helps in a little way.

Good morning sir, I really appreciate your concern sir I would have told my supervisor but I kept it to myself because I have seen where they refused to employ a nursing mother because they said she will be taking unnecessary off work to take care of her child.
I will go to the hospital tomorrow to take new appointment date, whatever date they give for the operation, I will notify my supervisor.
Concerning the UTME for my daughter, I borrowed N10,000 from my colleague to register her in February and she sat for the exam in April I have paid back. We are processing her admission in TASUED but no savings yet for that she just started doing labour work hoping to save money for her admission.

I have changed my other two daughters to public secondary schools but my son is in basic 2 in a private school and I pay N23,000 per term which I pay 3 times before the end of the term.
Concerning food stuff, presently we don't have anything at home even gas we don't have my boy was telling me this morning that I should use worm water to bath for him.

If we cook rice every morning, we will eat quarter bag for 11 days and bag of rice is N72,000. Concerning gas if I fill N1,200 I will use it for 5 days, half bag of garri is N13,000 it will last us one month they will drink it afternoon and make swallow at night.
Sir, any amount you give us I will make maximum use of it and Almighty God will reward you in multiples.
Thank you very much sir.

Great! But, just something to point out - Eating rice (particularly white rice) everyday might not be a good idea, just so you don't increase your blood sugar level beyond healthy limit. Brown rice + proteins should be the way to go. So you should be looking at brown rice, beans, eggs, milk, fish, meat. How much for a bag of beans in your location? I see you did not include it.

Could you include your bank account number in your next post. The bank should be a conventional bank like FirstBank, Zenith, Access, GTB, etc (not Opay, or any of those fintech). I know other people have done their own verification and I would't want to stress you any more than necessary, but I would also appreciate it if you can attach two means of identification showing only your first name (something like voters card, passport, diploma certificate, statement of result, National ID, etc). You can block sensitive details, block your surname, block your middle name, block your photograph, block every sensitive detail. I just want to see that your first name matches your bank account name.

After confirmation, you could go ahead and delete the details.

Hopefully this works.

Hello Telltruth123,

I only just started following this thread, and it seems you’re going through quite a lot. I am glad good people on this thread have come to render help to see that your son gets back in good health.

I see that the thread started on a chaotic note, with someone accusing you wrongly. Although the person went about it the “absolute” wrong way, I think the person was only trying to protect others from something which could potentially be a scam. I also appreciate how you handled the matter.

You said your son was diagnosed with inguinal hernia. I am very sorry to hear about that. I would advice you discontinue the herbal treatment, as this is something that needs surgical intervention, not herbal medicine. It is looking like doctors are yet to decide on a date for surgery. Hopefully a date is decided soon. I can also see that you’re scared of taking too much time off work to attend to your son’s medical needs, and I absolutely understand.

You should let your supervisor at work know exactly what is happening, and let them know what times you would like to be excused off work, so they can plan appropriately. Any reasonable superior at work should understand and try to work with you as you navigate this.

From one of your previous posts, you said your husband sponsored you through school at some point. God bless his kind heart. You also mentioned your other children needing money to take UTME exams or some other exams, plus difficulty feeding, paying back loans, saving money for business and spending it all. Looks like a lot to me.

Financial stress could be really troubling and very difficult to manage. I can only pray and hope that things get better for you so that you can begin saving once again and one day start your business. I should state again that I am glad that some kind people in this thread are willing to support your son’s medical bill. On my end, I am willing to support other minor general needs, primarily food and/or academic needs like the UTME fee you talked about earlier, or school fee as a new school session is just on the way.

How much do you think could augment your current household income to sort some of the most pressing needs currently? Please do not exaggerate how much you need as I am not rich, I just want to help from the little I have, and I need a reasonable estimate that I can work with.

Best regards.
