The govt never wanted to use force on Kanu and his followers, his release in bail even when on trial for a crime that is ordinarily not bailable can attest to the fact. In addition to this, numerous Igbo leaders were sent as emissaries by the govt to try and talk some sense into him, to try and point out the dangers and folly on the path that he had chosen to tread down. We here on nairaland also tried to play our part by warning his e-army of the impending crackdown, but to no avail. Instead we were mocked and insulted as bragged about some non existent foreign support. Bottom line is HE WAS WARNED

It's a pity that South East governors keep falling for the Deciet of the divisive and destructive President , they are not even ashamed the had to go to Abuja to beg for the construction of a mere 41 Kms of road from a man who has never hidden his disdain for the people the claim to govern, I will like the useless governors how many Northern Governor went to beg Buhari before he refused to take any action against herdsmen , how many Northern Governors went to beg Buhari before he directed the world bank to push all it's funds to the North, how many Northern Governors went to beg Buhari before he directed the NERC to transmit most of electricity being generated to the North while living the South with less than 6 hours of electricity a day , how many Northern Governors went to visit Buhari before 90 percent of NNPC critical appointment was given to the North.?..Instead of the useless governors of the South East to go and ask Buhari how come they don't have a single son on the Federal Security council they are humiliating the mere promise of a 41 km road which any of them could have conveniently handled if they have sense ... Zombified E-warriors are getting sophisticatedly frustrated these days ,they have tried very hard to defend their corrupt leader in the $25billion allegations made by a top member of the cabinet,in their bid to convince Nigerians that the dullard is not corrupt ,they have resorted to cheap blackmail and propaganda which is their stock in trade ,when it is very clear that this govt lacks anything called "Democratic values " every now and then you hear them reasoning like "poo" as if we are in a banana republic where leaders ride on the rights and freedom of the people.
We shall continue to air our view no matter how anyone views it,the right to express our feelings is an inalienable one which no animal can take away no matter the insults or intimidation.

Nobody have the monopoly of being a nuisance ,a country where a supposed leader soaks dogs and baboons in blood just to be president cannot be said to be occupied by reasonable beings as we are expected to perceive.
