It is this your uncongenial disparagement of other tribes that has relegated Igbo to a second fiddle in the scheme of things in Nigeria.
It's time some of you folks started respecting other tribes inspite of asymmetries of inequality in population, culture, beliefs etc.
Could you go through your comment and ask yourself if you really made any sense?
Tomorrow you would want Akwa Ibom and Cross river to align with your secession struggles after you constantly vilipend them.

We're minor to them but they can't let us be with their stupid attachments! God is so kind.. threads have been opened to debunk their claims!

NtoAkwaIbom:
We all remember the bakasi peninsula issue, the people indigenous yo that area where Nigerians mostly Akwa/cross people, but then instead of relying on their occupation and control of the Peninsula as evident by the existence of a functioning government which regulated the area...(this in international law is sufficient means of prove of sovereignty over a territory ) but instead of that, Nigeria was relying on maps and data that were rigged to favor the drawing party, hence, we lost a very rich Peninsula to the cameroons. That my brothers and sister is the risk we face, if we keep quiet when we are supposed to speak up and be heard.

Ordinarily, Akwa ibom state shares borders with Rivers, Cross River, and Abia..
In these areas because of trade, the border communities are always fluent in the language of both areas.. The language of oron is oron, but close to the river border with calaba, on village there gets to be fleuent in Oron and efik... That does not make efik an indigenous community in Oron, the efik people will not claim them to be indegenous... But if oron is gazeted it will be stated that the people atthe fringes speak oron as their main language, but are also fluent in efik which aids them in commerce.

Its the same thing with the areas bordering Abia..
Ika for one has its language, which is named 'Ika" its their main and official language... But because of their proximity to abia state, the people learnt overtime to speak and understand igbo, so as to aid in their businesses and commerce..
But then the people there are indegenous annang people and Igbo is jus a second language they use for commerce with the igbo... But you wont go to the paramout rullers house and speak igbo, it will be an afront... You go there and you speak Ika... You wont see anigbo man being made the village head there, but you will see a sizable number of igbo people there doing businesses..

So you see...
When one now comes, and says, that because igbo is spoken there as a second language, that that automatically makes the area to be an indigenous igbo community, you can imagine the affront that the people will feel.they will feel threatened and they will be very weary of the igbos in their midst, as they will feel that the next thing will be for the igbos to usurp their powers.

So the arguments that have been on, is not in anyway a form of hate towards the igbos, but a fight for survival and Identity by the owners of these communities.
If there are so many people that are so ignorantly claiming the area to be an Igbo area, what do you think will hapen to the "IKA" people ? They will fade out, and the same way most midle belt cultures faded to become Hausas, the subset will now be overun by the main set the igbo, and before you know, one community after another, and next thing you know will be of the Lost annang tribes.

So fellow Nigerians far and wide, this is not a means of calling for E-wars, but a means of preserving the Identity of a people that may be phased out.. If the ignorant and misinformation that is going on and about should go on.

Akwa Ibom and the Igbo community are good neigbors.. As good neighbors we need to respect each other boundaries for peace to reign..

This thread is funny shall. There are just 3 Ndoki villages in Akwa Ibom from the evidence shown here. So do the Igbos think that those 3 villages can make the whole of Akwa Ibom state to join their beloved Biafra? Even in Delta State where the Delta Igbos have a full senatorial district, they can't even swing Urhobos, Isokos, Ijaws, and Itsekiris to Biafra sef. Then it is where there are 3 Igbo villages in a whole state. Those villages can only be part of Biafra, if they share boundaries with their brothers in Abia. Or else the Igbos will find a way to transport the lands on those villages to Biafra if those guys want to become part of Biafra. I don't see how any sane Efik, Ibibio, Annang, or Oron man will choose Biafra over Niger Delta republic. So I don't even understand the hullabaloo going on in this thread
Which stupid evidence.
Downloaded documents are evidence? I see no difference between Fulanis and Igbos in Nigeria

The hilarious thing of it all, I know someone whose grandmother is actually an Ndoki from Akwa Ibom. I said I won't even just use them to argue hence brought the screenshots. Literally brought screenshots from different sources, all of which saying the same thing and dude still arguing against it. Since, the three villages that Ndoki claims as their own is listed, you'll think he'll provide an alternative evidence to prove they are not who Ndoki claims but nah, the villager thinks ranting is "clear evidence" enough against source.

I'm not even shocked thought. The fucking dude thought Ndoki spoke Annang and they were who Obang spoke of on the article I posted. Likewise, thinks there are Annang in Arochukwu grin grin grin grin. Ignorant

Confirm villager jor.
Your mother's bestie is no longer from Akwa Ibom grin grin your ancestors are no longer Ndoki? Your bf is no longer from Ibibio?? Make una knack una head for ground grin I'll make sure this post gets to a wider audience so my people can see your true characters...
