I wanted to talk more on polygamy. Those talking and comparing with polygamy should understand that a white man's thinking is largely future projected. They think about the consequences of something before adopting them.

What is the need of fathering lots of children with no viable income to support the polygamous structure? what does it add to the nation apart from increasing it's poverty and illiteracy index? That is why it's increasingly important to educate and advise people on family issue like this. (Many African are still deeply religiously inclined)
Why people of old practiced polygamy was because they had the resources to cater for them, in an agricultural and commercial centred society. Where everything wasn't digitalized and expensive like the enlightenment centuries.

Africa today is still suffering from the consequences of overpopulation and increasing birth rates without any means of survival.

So the West frowns on bearing more offsprings than the nation's resources can shoulder.
