The truth is that there are no jobs open to the public anymore. The available ones have been occupied even before adverts are placed on the internet or Newspapers. This is really amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Truth be told. It is just like our elections, most time we know where it will tilts to.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Ndlea Test: Share Ur Experiences Here! by clickgold(m): 2:20am On Nov 23, 2010
Sometimes things that happens in this nation just make you wonder where we are heading.

Imagine NDLEA has joined the growing rank of people that extorts money from unemployed graduates. Question is how many spaces were actually available before the sham exercise? How many did the godfathers and political bigots leave out?

To me some people just wanted to line up their pocket. It is a shame, a show of shame and it should be condemned. A word of wisdom to the numerous applicants:would you feel confident if MTN told you to buy scratch card to apply for a vacancy in their organization? So stop wasting money on buying such cards in the future.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: What Is The Current State Of Employment In Nigeria? by clickgold(op): 1:49pm On Nov 22, 2010
Over the week end, the President was complaining that Nigeria graduates are not good enough. Methink this is begging the issue. The employment even for the good ones are not available.
EducationRe: Jonathan Laments Quality Of Nigerian Graduates by clickgold(m): 1:36pm On Nov 22, 2010
The problem with this country is our penchant for leaving serious issues on the table.

The present Nigeria graduate is a direct product of our society, a reflection of the decay and a mirror image of the loss of moral and values. Truly we have gain nothing from our elders and leaders. Who cares? Deal with more serious issues, fund the schools properly and see if the graduates we churn out won't become world class.

You all send your children abroad for schooling and leave us here to rot, then turn around and blame us for your ineptitude.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: What Is The Current State Of Employment In Nigeria? by clickgold(op): 2:10pm On Nov 19, 2010
Maybe I should re-phrase the question:

How many good jobs are actually available in Nigeria? Is the government doing enough to create jobs for its teeming young graduates?

Please keep your comments coming in.
NYSCRe: Nysc Batch C Passing Out Date by clickgold(m): 1:55pm On Nov 19, 2010
Well I guess most of these guys have passed out and 'moved' on with their life. But with the few things i gleaned from their posting, Nigeria is certainly in trouble. If they are a measurement of other graduates alike then the future indeed is shaky.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Ndlea Recruitment- Next Stage by clickgold(m): 12:58pm On Nov 19, 2010
Wow over half a million that is quite a number. Anyone have info on the number of people they are taking? selling N1500 scratch card to this kind of crowd is crazy.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Important: Notice to Jobseekers by clickgold(m): 12:39pm On Nov 19, 2010
people wise up.

What all applicants should work on is becoming better at skills. You must have marketable skills and I believe that getting a job will be easy.

Today companies are employing the blue ocean strategy to increase profits, retain customers and hold down their market share. Applicants need to start thinking along that also. They do not want to employ you because you are a graduate. You must be trendy.

Do you have what it take to work in a good paying company?

ideas, anyone?

PoliticsRe: How Ndlea Made Close To 200 Million Naira From Poor Applicants by clickgold(m): 5:54pm On Nov 17, 2010
I keep saying it over and over again. Our government and its operational agencies are completely out of touch with reality. Just imagine this.

The rest are following suit. Police, the armed force, NPA etc. you need to cough out money to work with them. I say no to this daylight robbery.

If you need a job you must get creative or else. There is a way you can do this and not follow the crowd. Imagine over 100,000 applicants. How many do you think they are actually taking.

a word is enough for the wise, save your money.

CareerRe: As Graduates Continue Roaming The Streets by clickgold(m): 2:58pm On Nov 17, 2010
Starting a business in Nigeria is no kid's play.

When I graduated I first have to work in a firm for some years so as to save money to kick start my company. 5 years down the road I will say life has been fair, but I really had to work for it. You can start somewhere, these days part of my job is helping graduates understand their strength and finding where to fit in in organizations.

So far so good, with my guidance a large number of them have left roaming the streets to either start their own company or get good paying job. I do not believe in submitting your CV all over the place. There is the reverse job logic that smart people use to work in any company of their choice. I have written a free report on that, so visit a new site I put up to help graduates land their dream job.
Remember that only the fool give up, no matter the pain just keep pushing
CareerRe: Nigerian Degrees And Work Experience Are Disregarded In America. Why? by clickgold(m): 2:34pm On Nov 17, 2010
Wow! so many things are wrong with our nation.
it all stem from our bad leadership style and our overtly docile follower ship system. We must all take that pain to start making amend. There are countries that spend over 80% of their capital expenditure on education. Here in Nigeria we are not paying attention to what really matter.

Those of us who can hold our head high overseas can do so because of the quality education we received from foreign schools. Imagine a situation where a department of a private university in US receives more money than what is used to run the whole of UNILAG? How do we compete? We need to start investing in the training and education of our people.

Now we are creating a new generation of illiterates who apparently saw the four walls of a university and cannot make any meaningful impact on the society.

Hello Fellow Nairalanders,

I have carried out an extensive research on job availability in Nigeria. I need your take on this. What is the true and current state of the employment/labour market in Nigeria?
Do you think the economy as it is now can absolve a good percentage of those actively seeking for jobs?

Thank

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Urgent Vacancies by clickgold(m): 3:26pm On Nov 12, 2010
The youths in our countries seriously need jobs. Our government need to do more. Like providing the right environment for foreign companies to come and invest.
They emphasis should be on youths empowerment, provision of competent security network, electricity and good roads.

Please my fellow nairalanders that need a job, you can get your dream job if you believe and follow a proven system. Jobs are not that hard, but we lack people with adequate skills and correct manpower.

If you really know what you are worth, your job hunting days will be over and you can start deciding which company to choose from the many offers you will receive.

Happy job hunting.
