Hello house, abt peace corps of nigeria, my friend got d form in enugu and ws sheduled 4 triaing but they were told to hold on till afta d whole process of public hearing, third reading and possibly approval..she also paid 40k and oda things, wanted 2 get a form as well but she said they don't issue forms again especially nw they r turning to hot cake, buh I will still go to there office myself to verify

in my opinion, I think expensive schools isn't all about the knowledge the impact.(you can get that in any school, not totally tho )
In expensive schools, you don't just pay for the knowledge, you are paying for the environment, the exposure, and friends(which is very important ) the kind of friends your child will mingle with at that early stage goes a long way..... (believe ot or not). But parent or should I say most people don't consider this. Parents that pay heavily for their kids education are not stupid(that of course is If the said parent can afford it conveniently), they know what they are doing, and trust me, they are not just paying for the "book knowledge" most of the big shots we have in Nigeria today, do a research on the kind of schools they went to during their time, you will find out that they all went to the same primary school or like kinds (tho different locations ) and trust me they help themselves get to where they are today(majority) we have the likes of kings college, Queens college, babalola memorial girls grammar school or even St Louis. These were the happening schools then. And when you see their reunion you will understand and those schools(tho, they were not expensive at their time) but such schools don't come cheep in our present time now.
So if you have the money please, take your child to a very worthy school.
You can never compare the kids in grange nursery sch to that of just one down the street.
I hope you get my point sha.

Mine complains a lot about my cooking even tho am not a bad cook. when I cook and he has friends over they don't stop commenting my food, but my hubby will never make a statement to agree with them instead he will do face like him nor hear anything. if he mistakenly stumbles on me while cooking, he will say things like why re u putting salt now, u are not supposed to, why did u add pepper now u should wait till u bring down the food before adding pepper, I are not stirring the pot of soup well u should stir it always towards the left, and the list goes on and on, it can be very tiring annoying and irritating especially when outsiders appreciate the same meal that was downcasted by my hubby, cos I cook for him and not outsiders.

This is exactly what am facing in my home..I feel better going thru ur post, at least am not d only one going thru dat
