You didn't mention Worlds Apart featuring Kenneth Okonkwo and Ini Edo. That movie is gold and one of the best Nigeria ever made. |
If these people are wise, Amaechi should win this, but this is Nigeria, a highly corrupt country. |
In a sane society, only people like Donald Duke, Peter Obi, Yemi Osinbajo, Alex Otti and few others like them will be contesting for presidency, and then there will be hope for the masses. Whoever wins in this type of lineup is a win for the people. But in Nigeria, what we have is Tinubu and Atiku, selfish and corrupt politicians and you still see most people supporting them. Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria. |
That's good and commendable. I like seeing young guys take political positions. People will say his father paved way for him, yes, at least it's better than all those old stubborn men that doesn't really care about us but there to fill their greedy belly. Nigerian youths should take over their country by any means necessary. |
Who do you think will be the PDP presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections? |
Hello my country people, irrespective of tribe, region or religion, there is something we all know and can't deny, and that's the fact that our President is old and weak. He is old mentally and physically and can't perform at his best any longer.(Old age is a blessing, don't get me wrong). Someone of Tinubu's age should be retired in his mansion, resting and relaxing with his wife, playing and telling stories to his grandchildren. That's why even in the civil service, at 74 you're already retired. Now imagine a country of 36 states, 774 local governments and about 250 million people, expecting a man of that age who could barely walk straight or hold a microphone firmly (with all due respect to him) to preside over the affairs of a large country like this. I see people complain and whine about Tinubu, why he should be there, why he should have done this, why he should have done that. The root cause of the problem is that he's weak now and can no longer perform at his best, physically and mentally. I don't know why some people don't just get it. Most of the old people I know are slow and stubborn, they have nothing much to lose and so they don't care. Buhari was also like that. We shouldn't hand over Nigeria to people like that. We need someone who has both youth and experience in him, who can handle the affairs of this nation at his best. We need a President whose physical appearance alone commands respect. Someone who can rapidly respond to situations and problems, someone who can restore the reputation of this great nation. If Abia State could get it right, then Nigeria can get it right too. Any great group, organisation, state or country starts from the head and Nigeria should start from the head to get it right. There is hope and future for the country and it's on all of us to do what's right. Tinubu and his likes just want to be President, they don't genuinely care about the citizens and the nation because if they do, they won't even contest in the first place knowing too well that they're no longer at their best and can't do it. This is a modern world and these people are just too backward, too slow and too incompetent to come up with it. Let us all forget about tribe and religion and put hands together to make Nigeria great for us and for the upcoming generation. Whatever decision we make today will live with us. |
Nigeria and Italy are facing the same thing; bad administration. But the difference is that the Italian football administrators are resigning and overhauling their football team for growth and improvement, while the Nigerian corrupt and greedy administrators will want to keep on spoiling the national team for their selfish interest. |
Trump is funny guy. The man no really send anybody. |
If you were to present one person from your heart, as a person that loves your country and want the best for it, not being tribalistic or sentimental, who do you think will make the best President for Nigeria? |
Biggie spicing up the show and I love that.... |
Look at their funny faces |
This night's nomination is very interesting and funny. |
Omo |
Victor Osimhen should be in at least top 20 of that list.. if actually they understand what being influential is... |
These people should stop all these nonsense and stop disgracing Nigeria, it's no longer funny. There's nothing special or creative about cooking for hours. |

Governor Udom Emmanuel has done profoundly and outstandingly well in Akwa Ibom State. His achievements speak for themselves, he's one of the governors in Nigeria I admire a lot and wish to have in my state. I wish Governors can be signed just like football managers, Abia State would have rushed to sign someone like Udom Emmanuel, who's a tested and trusted manager. Our Governors have sent us to relegation. We need redemption. |
Abia state has been so unfortunate with bad leaders and this has taken the state so backward. Only people inside that state can tell how it is. There's nothing like governance in that state. And the selfish leaders in the state keep imposing their successors on the people of the state. Imagine a governor celebrating just one fly over for over seven years of his administration... |
It's like you're a virgin or something like that. For a woman you toasted and now possibly see as your girlfriend to agree to come and sleep with you in the same bed means she's already prepared for sex with you. You're the one to initiate it, most of them won't. |
A very nice thread. Educative, informative, and eye opening. To the op and everyone who has contributed to this thread, you all are appreciated. Some ideas and information can worth more than money, once again you all are very much appreciated. As the thread progresses, we want anyone who knows a thing or two he can add to help others to do without withholding it. The world is going digital and we have to adapt to it. |
Atiku is miles better and preferable to Tinubu. Atiku is fit mentally and physically than Tinubu, he is kinder, more presentable both nationally and internationally. Atiku is in a better party with better ideology and more sensitive towards the people's needs than APC. Any sane person supporting Tinubu doesn't mean well for Nigeria and don't want this country to move forward. Look at what we witnessed in the hands of Buhari, and Tinubu is the same if not worse than Buhari. |
PDP won because the average Nigerian is tired of APC. We've seen that the party doesn't mean well for us so we're now against them and their propaganda. Osun people decided to teach APC that power belongs to the people. What Osun people did is what Nigerians are going to do next year in the coming election. We have rejected APC. Using someone like Portable to campaign for election shows what you're modeling as a party and Osun people showed them that they're not touts. |
Congratulations to Osun people for making us believe that our votes will count this coming election. Osun people deserve some credit and good governance for their stance and willpower in this election. Unseating an incumbent party with the federal power too is not something easy but they did it and defended their votes. This is highly commendable and exactly what we expect from Nigerians at large to do in this coming election. APC will be floored and thought a lesson. You can't put Nigerians in pains for eight years and expect us to support or smile with you. Like I use to say, if Peter Obi can't get it, then Atiku should. Anything but the APC. Amongst all the presidential candidates, Tinubu is the weakest, possibly the oldest, almost physically handicapped due to old age and sickness, mentally he's losing it due to old age too, just too many similarities with Buhari if not worse. This is not what Nigeria can stand to face for another eight years. Say no to APC. |
Ok |
Osun people made the right choice by disconnecting themselves from that APC of a party. This is what Nigerians will do come 2023; APC will be relegated and dismantled from Aso rock and a fresh air will blow into Nigeria. Nigerians should learn from Osun people; power belongs to the people. The people decides who rules. Election is not about financial numbers but by individual numbers. It's not about how much you have, but about how much you're loved and accepted. |
Ok |
I'm not from Osun State, not even from the South West, but I'm just happy that the APC lost the election. That party is so evil and shameless that we've never seen. A party that neglected sound minds like Osinbajo, Amaechi and presented Tinubu, a party that saw a rogue like Shettima and made vice, a party that used a tout like Portable to campaign for election, a party that has plunged Nigeria into darkness and backwardness shouldn't be given a chance at any level. If Obi can't get the ticket, then we can go back to PDP, just anything but APC. |

APC as a party has failed woefully. We don't want this again. Nigerians are tired of old people who are power drunk and only after their selfish interest. You can't tell or convince me that Tinubu is better than Osinbajo and Amaechi, who are sound in mind and in brain. Nigerians would have considered this party if they fielded someone like Osinbajo, but to tell you the selfishness of the people in the party, from the Governors to the delegates, they allowed money to rule their conscience and vote in an old man. Tinubu is a disgrace to Nigeria and the youths, imagine Tinubu representing us in diaspora meetings. He has already started to run his mouth anyhow, to tell you that old age is already catching up with his brain. Imagine Tinubu in the next eight years as the president of Nigeria. Atiku is not a saint, but at least he and PDP are miles better than this party and their reps. Atiku is not the best PDP should have presented us, but we rather choose a more vibrant, healthy and lively fellow in Atiku and PDP than this. |
This is the person they're supporting to be president after what we witnessed from Buhari. It's so sad. |
