Bro what if someone enter with NCE

One IGP entered as cadet inspector with OND but he furthered his education.

NCE and ND holders enter as cadet inspectors. So, I think it is possible for one to become IGP with NCE. Again, you should know that IGP appointment is at the president's discretion.

Please, note that I do not work with ths police. So, I cannot be speak for them

As Arase Laments Lack Of Interest Of S’East Youths

Kaduna State is currently leading in the number of applications already received as at day 9 in the ongoing recruitment exercise for General Duty Constables into the Nigeria Police Force.

A press statement on Wednesday signed by Ikechukwu Ani, Head, Press and Public Relations stated that 20,259 Kaduna State youths have already completed the online applications to lead the table while Anambra State leads from behind with only 541 applications.

Following Kaduna State at the top are Adamawa State with 18,933 applications, Borno State with 18,305; Bauchi State, 16,554; Katsina State, 16,232 and Kano State has 15,888 applicants.

Next to Anambra State from the rear are; Ebonyi State, 737; Abia State, 966 and Imo State 999. Bayelsa State has 1020; Enugu State, 1036; Lagos State, 1259; Delta State 1338 and Edo State has 1526 applicants.

Meanwhile 242, 391 males have already completed their applications while only 35,405 females have registered their presence.

Dr. Solomon Arase, retired Inspector General of Police and the Chairman of the Commission, has expressed concern in the continued disinterest of South East youths in pursuing a career in the Nigeria Police Force.

Dr. Arase noted that the South East, currently a hot bed for non-state actors’ rebellion in the country should have been in the forefront to join the Nigeria Police Force and bring indigenous solution to the menace.

He called on the leadership of the zone to find a way of convincing its youths to embrace the opportunity the ongoing recruitment has provided.

The PSC Chairman said it will be difficult for anybody to listen to cries of marginalisation from leaders of the zone if they choose to remain indifferent to Government’s generous decision to offer employments to Nigerian youths into the Police Force.

He said they should maximise the remaining five weeks open for their youths to get into the train.

Did u know that;

1..The total population of Israel is 9.3M.

2..Of the above population, 1.7m are Muslims representing 18% while Christians are just 185,000 equivalent to 1.9%. While Jewish religion adherents have about 73.6% of the total population.

3..From the above figures, it could be seen that Israeli Muslims are nine times more than Israeli Christians in Israel.

4..The Israeli Defense Force has an army of 169,500 (active personnel). Of this number, only 150 are Christians while Muslims are 606, the rest are Jewish Adherents.
5.. 40% of #Jerusalem are Palestinians.

As the War rages, know that people are dying and only the bigots will pray for Palestinians to be wiped or the Israel to be wiped.

Politics / Court Disqualifies Sylva From Bayelsa Governorship Poll by clockwisereport: 5:39pm On Oct 10, 2023

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has disqualified the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the Bayelsa State Governorship Election, Timipre Sylva from the contest.

A member of the All Progressives Congress in the state, Demesuoyefa Kolomo had in a suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/821/2023 asked the court to determine whether Sylva was qualified to contest in the election, having occupied the office of governor of Bayelsa from May 29, 2007 to April 15, 2008 and May 27, 2008 to Jan. 27, 2012.

However, in a judgement delivered on Monday night, Justice Donatus Okorowo held that allowing Sylva to contest again would breach the provision of the 1999 constitution having been sworn in twice and ruled for five years as a governor of the state.

The judge also said Sylva would spend more than eight years in office if allowed to participate in the election and eventually win.

Citing the case of Marwa vs Nyako at the Supreme Court, Okorowo noted that the drafters of the country’s constitution stated that nobody should be voted for as governor more than twice.

He added that the parties to the suit agreed that Sylva was voted into office two times.

Okorowo stated that the Supreme Court ruled in the case of Marwa vs Nyako that nobody can expand the constitution or its scope. So, if Sylva is allowed to contest the next election, it means a person can contest as many times as he wishes.
