ferdinandurian:I'm not sure how much WES charges, the total cost for wes depends on the mode of shipping you choose. However, for IQAS its a total of $275. |
balogunsam:Firstly, since you are self employed, its taken for granted that you are the CEO of said company, therefore your NOC is NOC013 thereby qualifies you for the FSWP. However, if you are not the CEO ensure that whatever duties/responsibilities that falls on you fits into either NOC 0, A or B and then proceed to find the exact or closest NOC code that fits your job description. Secondly, its expected that your company/business is registered under CAC, therefore you should have a certificate from CAC to prove that fact. You will also need to provide an up to date TAX CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE from LIRS and FIRS respectively to show that its a functioning business that pays its taxes. You can also throw in the PAYE receipt (Pay As You Earn Tax which the company is required to deduct from its staff's salary and remit to LIRS on their behalf) from LIRS to show that you actually have staff that you manage/work for you, it will really help with justifying the NOC you chose. It will also make sense to provide the company's Bank Account Statement (including the required Banker's Reference letter). These are the only things that come to mind at the moment. I will also advice that you do extensive research for more information regarding your situation. Finally, make sure that you cross check all suggestions and answers given to you on this platform or any other forum against the information on the CIC website. (Use all advice at your own risk oh! lol!!!) Wish you the best in this our canadian sojourn! We shall overcome! *sigh* ![]() |
uptown17:You are not required to upload your transcript when filling your application. However, you are required to upload the scanned original copy of the Certificate issued to you upon completion of studies at your university. In addition to the that you will also need to upload your ECA from WES and report from IELTS. You will need to merge all these documents into one PDF file and upload. ![]() |
Deebay:You are fine then, you can use your spouse's ECA from WES. |
5Kay:I used ieltsliz and the following channels on youtube; Oxford online English, Ielts listening test, write to top, learn English with Emma and readingielts.com |
Hey guys. Thanks for the information shared here.IRCC requires that you evaluate only your highest level of education (except you want to claim points for the 2 or more certificates category) However, you get more points using the masters certificate as opposed to the 2 certificates category. Therefore using your spouse's highest level of education which is masters in this case doesn't amount to mis-representation. However, the subject of his masters programme will determine who will evaluate. About work history, most people fill out their spouse's work history under the personal history category to avoid going through the trouble of proving it. It might be best if you do the same to avoid any big grammar. |

Bjaydjay:As tempting as it is not to include her, its not worth it in the long run. Get her to write IELTS and if she aces it, she could add an extra 20points to your CRS score. I will advice you enter the pool with your present score and start working on your spouse's IELTS. I'm speaking from personal experience. Cheers mate! All the best to you and your family! |
Congratulations to everyone who got PPR!!! May the rain of PPR continue non stop oh! ![]() |
nkigirl:Hi @nkigirl , its okay for the funds to remain in your husband's account but you will attach an LOE from him. However, there are people that prefer that the funds be transfered into their account which will still require an LOE from the husband anyways. So either way is fine. |
impish: i feel the heat and sting of my husband's side eyes everytime i'm asleep too!!! ![]() |

Hello people! i've been a silent follower of this thread for sometime now! I decided to rebuke the anti-social spirit in me and finally say hello!!! i started my canadian journey in april and got ITA in june. i have not submitted my application because CIC has decided to punish people that cannot seat their bum in their country thats what is actually keeping me from submitting. I really want to appreciate everyone that takes time to answer questions here and even the ones bold enough to ask! You guys are doing a great job here! Hopefully i will be more active here and give back too! May you all have a beautifully blessed day/week and may PPR fall on you all soon! ![]() |
