My sentiments about FBI PCC exactly! Why they cant outsource the process still beats me! Everytime i think about it all i imagine is one unlucky intern in the janitor's closest opening heaps of mails without caring that he/she is delaying some peoples canadian dreams

Since you are not the PA , you should most definitely do that. That way you wont be required to provide any work reference.

Other jobs, I can't get references as two are now closed and one has changed names 3ce and new management and stuff, will employment letters only work? This isn't adding to our points, since I am not primary abi is it principal applicant?

I used self employment for one of my job claims. I dont own a company, but I work as a self employed consultant. To prove this I attached a letter of explanation, proof of payments,invoices, contract, and reference letters from my clients where possible.

Hello MRSDA,

The work history that you cant provide letter of reference for, its best to move it to your personal history.

As for your business these are the documents necessary;

1: CAC incorporation certificate.

2. Tax Clearance Certificate

These two documents prove that its an existing and functioning business

Then to prove your experience in order to justify the NOC you chose, you will need the following documents as suggested by someone with similar situation a few pages back;

1. A letter from one of your client who can attest to the fact that you perform the functions contained in your NOC.

2. In addition to the above, an invoice issued to the client and probably other clients

3. Statement of account to show proof that those transactions were carried out and completed.

These are the few i remember the person listed. It'll be best you go a couple of pages back to check out the post. If i get the link i'll post it here for you.

Done it lots of times, never had a problem. Not true, I even renewed the passport in the same name, your name, your choice.

Did you travel alone with your child or was your husband present too.

My hubby is actually d principal applicant and a Dependant of 4 for now cos we r expecting a baby by ending of d month which wud make it 5. Although he notified CIC b4 submitting his applications.My fear now is ;

1) We r expecting PPR any moment from now cos his AOR was in June 16th and he's gotten 2 ADR request of which d latest was to pay RPRF fee which he paid on 28th of last month...Now if we get PPR b4 d baby is born cos I think we have 15 days to submit d passport and fill d IMM form,what r we to do @ dis juncture? Cos d baby hasn't arrived yet
2) If d baby arrives b4 we get d PPR request I doubt we wont be able to meet d tym frame of d 15 days submission cos like we all know d scarcity of passport @ immigration office which cause a lot of delays. I am confused? Kindly respond,tnks

I think you should contact IRCC for advice oh! I know for sure that if you tweet a question at them, they will respond. If you are uncomfortable tweeting at them, send them an email. Turning down PPR is for the strong hearted oh! Please come back and share their response to you with us. Hopefully, bornboy/girl will decide to come before PPR arrives

I do not think this is entirely correct. For my spouse I just uploaded marriage certificate and newspaper publication as evidence for her change of name and now we have our PPR

My quote above says "newspaper publication alone will not suffice" There are also a number of people i know personally that used just their change of name affidavit and have also successfully landed in canada.

I infact have had 2 name changes.so I have 2 different gazettes with my surname changed.

Maiden name ➡marital name➡change of surname. We had a family change of surname.Problem is me and kids have my new surname and my husband still has our marital surname.

Should I be worried.

Just upload all your change of name documents and you will be fine. Families are configured differently. There are people who dont change their name after marriage and its not a problem.

No, the receipt of the affidavit is not important. Your affidavit will suffice.

Hello everyone. Congrats to all who have gotten PPR. I can't wait to be in your shoes.
I am waiting for my FBI PCC before I even start EE. i applied in July and I don't want to start EE now and start panting when FBI PCC is over delayed and my EE is counting down. So maybe I will apply for EE in September as I think the FBI may come out in October. But I am gathering all my docs so once I get ITA, I can finish up fast. Anyway, I have a serious issue

Company A were hiring for HR position and then wanted a contract staff. I was taken as a contract staff but contract under Company B (manpower supply). So my contract appointment letter is from Company B telling me I am neither a staff of company A or B but contract third party hire and once my contract expires, neither company is obligated to me. I was young and desperate, the money was very good and I took it.

Now, I need reference letter and HR mgrs of both companies are scared of giving me one as they claim I was not a staff and they don't have any idea what to do for contract staff. They also insist that it's the opposite company's responsibility.
I have explained that no one will be implicated in any way. But they are worried.
I am about to pull out all my hair.
FYI, I have ID card from company A and appointment letter from company B showing I was contracted to company A.

What can I do!!!!

Newspaper publication alone doesnt suffice. You will need to attach an affidavit of change of name. Infact, you need that affidavit before your change of name can be published in some newspapers

Firstly, its about the tone in which a few people's questions have been answered today. Surely, there is a way we can answer people's questions without throwing around harsh words and making a mockery of the person asking the question. Some questions may be mind boggling and even kind of ridiculous to you but we should always have it at the back of our minds that this forum was created for the purpose of finding answers and clarification to questions concerning our application no matter how silly it may sound. Also bear in mind that with the popularity the FSWP is gaining at the moment, there are sooooo many false and misleading information being dished out by false agents to people who dont know any better! So for someone to go out of their way to clarify all the information handed to them by coming here, we should atleast give them the benefit of doubt that they want to do the right thing and be sensitive when giving them an answer, it will take absolutely nothing away from you. We know that there are a lot of things wrong with Nigerians but when you meet one that wants to be pointed to the right direction (no matter how ridiculous their questions may be) lets try to be a bit more gracious and accommodating when helping them. Remember ONYE N'AJU AJUJU ADIGHI EFU UZO! Feel free to interpret if you understand .

Hi Calfy, you will need an affidavit of change of name and that alone will suffice. But for your own peace of mind you can include the newspaper publication and marriage certificate.

1. Your hubby just has to provide an LOE stating that he transfered the funds to you for PR purposes and for good measure his statement of account to show the transfer
2. Banker's reference letter is a compulsory requirement for POF. In addition to that you should provide the FD certificate and there are people who will advice that you include your bank statement too.

Yes you can modify your profile at anytime. But make sure you re-calculate your CRS score to ensure it is still above or the same with the minimum points score of your round of invitations. If after ypur modification and your crs score falls below the minimum score, you have to withdraw your application

You can get someone to help you out. All they'll need is your payment info and the reference number they assigned to you after registration. The good thing is that they will resolve it on the spot.

I just found out from someone who's application is at LVO (he contacted them) that they are currently giving priority to "STUDY PERMIT" applications at the moment.

I thought as much too but I just wanted the ECA to have my middle name as it is on my international passport.

The scenario is like this:

My Passport is: AAAAAA BBBBBB CCCCCCC
My ielts TRF is as on my passport: AAAAAAA BBBBBBB CCCCCCC
My BSc Degree is: AAAAAAA BBBBBBBB CCCCCCCC
My Evaluated Certificate (MSc) is: AAAAAA BBBBBB
My ECA report is same as it is on my MSc: AAAAAA BBBBBB
But I wrote them to include my middle name so now it is: AAAAAAA BBBBBBB CCCCCCCC

I just wanted almost all of my documents to tally with my passport but now I am looking at it from another angle. I am thinking of writing them again to remove the middle name. Just confused at this juncture!

Hi Iyke, i dont know if you have contacted IQAS yet but i will suggest that you leave the ECA as it is. Then attach an LOE explaining the situation and for your peace of mind you can also add a "ONE AND THE SAME PERSON AFFIDAVIT" It will give your explanation more credibility. I'm suggesting this because you will be required to upload your certificate after ITA and it will be good to see consistency between your ECA and evaluated certificate. #justmytwocents.

Even though its acceptable, its absolutely unnecessary if you have a marriage certificate issued by a marriage registry or any other body authorised to do so. Your marriage certificate is a legal document and will take precedence over any wedding pictures. I just feel adding wedding photos when i was not requested for will come off as trying too hard.

I maybe wrong oh but i guessing that the people that were required to provide additional evidence of their marriage probably only did traditional wedding or church blessing. One can never really tell which kind spirit that is pushing these VOs. LOL!!!

you actually dont need that form, i didnt send it to my school and i have my eca from iqas now. Just ensure that you include your APPLICATION ID and IQAS Addresss when requesting for your transcript to be sent from your school. As long as the transcript comes directly from your school, you are fine.

It'll make sense to go with what is written on your admission letter, but i dont think it matters so much though.

I registered with the Job bank oh!!!! hmmmm my sister/brother its only laborer work that ive been getting notification for! Laborer, fish cleaner, chicken killer, security personnel aka mallam just to mention a few The only sensible one i received was for a cashier at shell in alberta but on second thoughts it could have been at a shell filling station I dont bother with the job bank anymore, its a waste of my data.

Anyway, moving on to other matters. You are on the right path by deciding to write ielts again and the ideal minimum scores you need to increase your points is L8 R7 W7 S7. This could add an extra 57 points for you.

Evaluate your highest level of education which is your MSC because you will earn more points with it. You dont need to bother with your Bachelors degree
