With all the inventions that we have today, can someone tell me which Islamic country makes cars that is a named brand.

Bros, he was Persian not Arab. The same way Iranians are Persians and not Arabs. Also, not all Arabs are Muslims i.e. the Copts in Egypt, the Druze in Lebanon and Syria. Try and be objective and honest.

You can as well claim the pyramids in Egypt were built by muslims as well

Haven't your heard, your word is your bond. When you are getting married, you are required to say "I do" or "I don't" to signify your stand and your agreement.

beejaay: it baffles me alot..when you are having discussion with muslims, they instantly quote from the bible to justify whatever u are saying (thinking that u are a xtian) and the xtians will quickly refer you to quran to also justifies theirs when u are having discussion with them (thinking that u are a muslim)....then i ask myself cant the Bible or Quran stand alone why must they always look for conviction and supporter from what they dont believe in?? why must they always look for ways to run from your observation and discussion with them by trying to make it a war btw xtainity versus islam

Jesus doesn't and didn't teach or support the killing of apostate. The Bible doesn't need to Quran to justify it; the Bible existed almost 600 years before the advent of Islam.

Your proof of the "Bible Distortion" can't be suggested for me to research it - it proves nothing. Until you can present evidence that the Bible was distorted, it's ludacris to even suggest it.

Let us say I knew nothing of the distortion, how would you convince me that it was distorted? The burden of proof is on you because you are the one making the claim YET you haven't presented any factual and traceable evidence. Imagine you were in a court of law and you were asked to back this up, what would be your response?

The ramification that the Bible was changed is a big issue, so you have to provide proofs such as - what was changed, when was it changed, who changed it? The difference is simple, the Jesus described in the Bible is the Jesus of Nazareth and His character is consistent in all the gospels narrated and documented by his disciples that lived with him and studied under him.

Mohammed came 600 years later, with no evidence whatsoever and no witnesses and said the Jesus in the Bible is not the same Jesus. If common sense should prevail here - the outcome is simple . The question you should be asking yourself is this - Why wasn't the Bible ever accused of being changed or corrupted until Mohammed got on the scene?

their much chrished HADITH(mismash of hearsay literature) as their response. They do not follow the message(Quran) delivered by
prophet Muhammad(this is prophetically put in Quran 25:30-31). Instead, they follow some conjectural works of men that surfaced

Islamic teachings are not based on the Quran alone. Simple example:

1. Praying 5 times a day is not in the Quran but the hadith, yet every muslim including you obey this teaching
2. Going on the Hajj is another example and there are many other examples

So, it's not correct to say true muslims use the Quran alone to know it's teachings.

How can you kill me for turning away from your religion? Religion is not based on blind faith and constantly defending clearly evil doctrines. Religion is based on empirical evidences and morality. If you truely accept the scripture,obey and love the messenger, you cannot advocate for killing an apostate.

The hadith of Al-bukhari states otherwise.

So, how do we explain verses in the Hadith that state otherwise. For example:

Bukhari, volume 9, #17

"Narrated Abdullah: Allah's Messenger said, "The blood of a Muslim who confesses that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that I am His Messenger, cannot be shed except in three cases: in Qisas (equality in punishment) for murder, a married person who commits illegal sexual intercourse and the one who reverts from Islam (Apostate) and leaves the Muslims."

Bukhari, volume 9, #57

Narrated Ikrima, "Some atheists were brought to Ali and he burnt them. The news of this event, reached Ibn Abbas who said, "If I had been in his place, I would not have burnt them, as Allah's messenger forbade it, saying, "Do not punish anybody with Allah's punishment (fire)." I would have killed them according to the statement of Allah's Messenger, "Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him."

Bukhari, volume 9, #58

Narrated Abu Burda, "Abu Musa said.....Behold there was a fettered man beside Abu Musa. Muadh asked, "Who is this (man)?" Abu Musa said, "He was a Jew and became a Muslim and then reverted back to Judaism." Then Abu Musa requested Muadh to sit down but Muadh said, "I will not sit down till he has been killed. This is the judgment of Allah and his messenger," and repeated it thrice. Then Abu Musa ordered that the man be killed, and he was killed. Abu Musa added, "Then we discussed the night prayers .....

These verses confirm that when a muslim changes his religion, he should be killed. This is contrary to the OPs post. Can anyone shed some light on this
