Beremx: Is Hope Uzodinma trying to scare Imo people or what? Why the shooting when there's no protest? Lemme call a friend who lives in Owerri first
I read yesterday unknown gunmen entered Owerri. Maybe this is a shootout or attempt to stop the gunmen from reaching Government House. People on ground can inform us better.
From the information, It is not related to the protest. It seems there was sit-at-home declared, but people were violating it
[quote author= post=131224856]24 Housemates face possible eviction after Team Beta becomes the second pair to be saved after winning the show’s nomination challenge.
On Monday, Team Beta, consisting of Tjay and Ben, played an impressive game in the arena.
Each housemate was tasked during the arena game to walk over the bins towards a basket full of ping pong balls and take them to the other empty basket.
After the challenge, team Beta had the most balls with seven, which saved them and Ndi Nne pair, who became the first custodians of the house from this week’s nominations, while other pairs are up for possible eviction.
According to Biggie’s new twist, the Mbadiwe Twins, who won the first heads of house, HoH, title will also be up for possible eviction,
DAILY POST reports that Biggie had earlier announced that HoH will no longer have immunity. A change from previous seasons where HOH enjoyed immunity from eviction nominations and had veto power to save and replace housemates.
Someone like you may not allow someone from another state to contest for election in your state, even if he was born there and has lived all his life in your state
sIfioksq: Finally, some good news! This is a much-needed move to alleviate the suffering of everyday Nigerians. The price of food has been skyrocketing, and with this suspension, I hope we can see a significant drop in prices. Kudos to the FG for listening to the people's cry. Let's keep pushing for more positive changes!
TopNotchTrends: VDM, Verydarkblackman has staged his own protest in Abuja. Remember that VDM has been a focal voice, liberating the oppressed and speaking about the ills of the nation irrespective of who is involved.
He has now staged his own protest before the official protest which will be held on August 1 2024. Appearing shirtless and holding a placard which reads "emi lo kan, is it your turn to suffer us...", he voices in displeasure in the current Government without uttering a word.
On March 14, 2020, social media user, Demola of Lagos, shared a story of Mrs Joyce Dayser Adams, who lost her Auto shop in Wuye, Abuja, to demolition.
The autoshop, worth millions of naira in assets, where she goes about her daily business and trained females in auto works 'free of charge' was subject to a land use tussle. A court granted her ownership of the land and a restraining order on FCDA from harassing the occupants.
However, the order was disregarded and on the said day, FCDA moved in and reduced the thriving venture to rubbles, aided by a crack team of Policemen, VIO, NSCDC and some other security agencies leaving a distraught Joyce, heartbroken over her fortunes.
However, she picked herself up, set herself up again to keep her dream alive and later relocated to the UK. She went back to school, and graduated last month with an M. Sc in Mechatronic Systems Engineering.
Failure is not the falling down, but the staying down.
Franklyspeakin: why are politicians so worried ? if I was a governor that morning I will come out with my polo and joggers to join protest. follow them and move round providing top notch security? share bottled water and refreshments and finally receive them at govt house. I've realised that the masses feel happier when given the impression that their leaders value them.
