The LG offices will still be used by the governors to settle his allies. The governors still control the state electoral commissions which condu t LG elections
SmartPolician: I must appreciate politicians who stay in the opposition for a long time because that's one virtue uncommon among most Nigerian politicians.
Melagros: COMRADES, I don't think Nigerian governors will obey this order, they will definitely come up with a strategy to continue with the old tactics
It's just to rig in their candidate (whom they would have appointed as caretaker) as LGA chairman, the cycle continues
State electoral commissions should be truly independent
Glimpsetv: This lady's unusual display of strength is amazing. She was filmed standing in front of a man who was leaning on an electric pole in public, looking weak. His bicycle was parked right in front of him.
The lady was observed dropping the can of beer she was holding after taking a sip from it. She then immediately lowered her body and easily lifted the man onto her right shoulder while carrying the man's bicycle in her left hand. She then started walking away as passersby stared.
Zxcvbnmghtr: Sad! Very sad!!! This is not as a result of Earthquake a natural disaster but definitely human negligence due to poor construction and poor maintenance.
IT IS SO SAD!
Sad!
Glad you added the 'poor maintenance '. I don't know how many years the building has lasted, maybe, just maybe, it was not 'poorly' constructed, but the lack of routine maintenance contributed well to this.
Tallesty1: A woman lost her four kids in that building. She and her husband died after hearing the news.
Very sad!
People should be around those who are mourning now. With the current economic situation and this disaster, suicidal thoughts may creep into their minds.
Nigerians should learn how to make way for emergency services. The crowd at the entry of the scenario may not be necessary amd can delay professional rescure officers access to the scene
Her parents may be in the Nollywood industry. And she might have been used as a baby character for different roles. Of she decides to go onto entertainment, these people may help her to progress

@oh_angelbby's father is Gabrie Okorie, also known as Gabazinni, and was a makeup artist on movie sets.
Some governors use it as political appointment. It's even better to have an election and let the Governor's candidate win, than having care-takers running the affairs of the Local government
kennyz247: God will punish you and your generation for this statement you just said........
Nothing will happen to his generation. Let Nigerians know the right time to use 'God' and curses. If those curses work, most politicians would have started behaving well.
Tye power lies in your hands, the people. When the people are ready to vote in credible leaders, things will start changing for good
89green: no need for all this english, just go after him abeg
Why?
You borrowed his Airline and painted it Nigerian Air. He decides the charges for this. The Nigerians involved in the deal and deception should be the ones to be probed.
Anyways, he's not even going to honor any invitation by EFCC
AreaFada2: Good idea but wrong method. It should be within the current number of senators and reps.
At least one senate seat for women in each state and 2 seats in HOR. To be rotated around each senatorial district/constituency in each state.
Not a good suggestion.
The people should elect their representatives, irrespective of gender. The political parties should be the ones to ensure women are flagbearers, not the Nigerian constitution. Some political parties are doing so by reducing some costs for female candidates. But other measures can be taken
These law breakers makers seem to be looking at areas that favour them and their wives/families.
Sending female representatives should be the duty of the voters and not the lawmakers. Why are they eager to pass it as a law? Equity is encouraged, but let the power be with the people who vote
