However, some bad eggs started extorting young guys with it.

SARS ideally should to after Robbers. If they were doing that, nobody will protest, even if the Armed robber is known by the community for his giveaways. For example, Evan’s. He was some good works, but when he was arrested because of his crimes, no one protested.

Compare it with ICE. If you are illegal, and they come after you, that’s their job. It’s not harassment. It’s only harassment, if you’re not illegal. And in such situation, you don’t need to run or refuse them any informs they need.

They must have knocked. And the woman refused to open. Even the police man said something like they asked having an adult in the house?
She could be living illegally and didn’t expect their visit.
Mostly, the ICE worked with info from one of the men in her live who tipped her off as an illegal immigrant.

They must have gotten tip-off or evidence the woman is staying in the US illegally. So what’s she trying to do by recording them is to get public attention using the children.
