Get serious man, no way in hell will a jetta smoke a Peugeot 505 with a V6 engine. I have owned a Jetta executive car previously, i know its capabilities. Can't say much about the Golf GTI though, never driven one.

I dont know anything about Hyundai Sonata. But a 2.4 L engine doesn't sound like a V6 engine. I could be wrong, though.

The V6 engine, ES9J4S, in 407 V6 (petrol), is the same V6 engine in phase II 406 V6. The engine develops the maximum of 210 hp. Its a good engine. Phase II 406 V6 manual transmission is the next car i plan to own.

Please, note that 407 also have a Diesel V6.

nice one Ikenna. i certainly would get a car with a V6 engine when next i visit the country, i hope to travel from Lagos-Benin-Lokoja-Kaduna (my wife is from kaduna, while my parents are in Benin) with stop overs though...Any ideas on a peugeot 407 or 406 V6 engines? would you know if Hyundai Sonata 2.4l engine comes with a V6?

I dont know how much a 2006 Peugeot 407 cost in Nigeria but I have a friend who bought a one for £2100 (RHD) we drove it from Newcastle to Tilbury and they shipped for £440 to Nigeria

The agent he used charged him N300,000 and the car was delivered to his door in Ipaja!!! then paid N180000 to change the steering over to LHD,

So we are looking at around N1.2m


Now going by that process, last year I man wanted to sell me a 2000 Peugeot 406 for £1m,

This is a car that I could get in England for around £500 (cheaper if it has failed an MOT or even Cheaper at a car Auction) around £500 to Ship and around £1k to clear,

May be N200k change the steering over!!! to the Left and they are now changing them over to the LHD over here in England.
