The answer to all this madness is simple
1. abolish state of origin and replace it with state of residence.
2. allow states control their resources and pay royalties to the federal government.
if the above are done nobody will care where the President is from rather emphasis will be on the governors there by making state creation a non issue.

APC lacks all it takes to rule a country as diverse as Nigeria the cast stone @ others and can't stand stones hauled at them this is the height of hypocrisy.

Buhari is a joke pure and simple or he feels we all fools that doesn't know his main financiers are epitome of corruption. The old man should go back to his village and take care of his cows they need him more. APC is a confused party.

@ OP I will differ a bit presidential elections differ a lot from local elections the only SW state I see APC winning is Osun. Ondo and Ekiti are for PDP. Oyo will most likely vote PDP likewise Lagos despite been ACT states Ogun is the only swig state in the region. SS and SE is clearly PDP all 11states despite having 3 APC controlled states. NC the battle ground of the 6 states I see PDP having 3 states Benue, Kogi and Plateau APC winning Kwara. Niger and Nassarawa swing states. NE Taraba is PDP Yobe is APC bornu is swing for now Adamawa is a strong hold of PDP but may also be said to be swing. Gombe and Bauchi are both PDP states but may vote APC.
NW strong hold of the APC despite having 4 PDP governors the funny thing is that PDP will still win the required 25% . APC may have popular votes but PDP has the Spread. APC needs to break the SS and SE to be able to win there are no two ways about it .

it is clear the APC lawbreakers sorry lawmakers don't even understand the law they claim to make becos if they do, they should know its impossible to impeach the President even if they have the numbers in the HOR which they don't even have. Its also funny that the APC don't even understand the law let alone its application. Was it not the same APC that wanted a leadership change in January the Gbajabiamila and Ogor case comes to mind.

It's time to play the game of politic it may be a hard pill 4 APC but the truth is that APC is a lawless party always shifting the goal post to where it suits them it's time 4 d game to begin. Most APC supporters don't understand the provisions of the constitution or when d law takes effect. The law on defection came into law in 2011 or 2010 after the 1999 constitution was amended. From the law it's easier to defect 4rm APC to PDP as a result of a merger than to defect from PDP to APC becos their has never been a division in PDP, remember the so called New PDP was said to be illegal as said by a competent court of law. It's in deed a bitter pill but APC brought this on themselves U can't eat ur cake and have it. Am sitting down to enjoy the game.

Guess we need to understand the maths involved in winning a presidential election then we will understand why Buhari/Fashola ticket may not fly the SS/SE is lock down by GEJ Buhari can't get up 20% in any of the zone also a couple of states in the NC in the SW GEJ will get over 30% in most of the states if not all so technically having the required 24 state that is asides getting over 25% in a few states in NE/NW dats the strongest hold of Buhari dats a problem because Buhari can't get up to the required 25% in GEJ's strong hold as such cant get the required 25% votes in 24 states to be returned elected . We may have a case of GEJ with fewer votes but with the spread declared winner n returned elected that's the position of the constitution . I may be wrong in my analysis as I am not a lawyer will like a lawyer to to X-ray my analysis cheers

It's really funny when I hear people say APC will capture Ondo state. It's also pathetic to say Mimiko betrayed the people of Ondo by moving to PDP it's like saying Amechi and Co betrayed their people by moving to the APC. Over the last few months have come to the conclusion that APC is just desperate with no clear agenda.
