All I’ve learned so far from this case is that the police came to the house where three children lay dead in the basement and their mother was unconscious, with a temperature of 80+ degrees, a crush thyroid and unable to speak.

And all the investigation they did was to accept what he said as fact and did not dig deeper.

I know there are several legal technicalities at play here being that she woke up and was told that her husband said that she said she killed the kids and tried to kill herself. She accepted that likely false memory seeing as she can’t remember anything else that happened.

And according to him, she supposedly tried to kill herself by ingesting some drugs, cutting herself in the wrists and neck and then throwing herself from a window?

Haven't reviewed the case, but I'm sure no one wants to find someone who killed 3 children not guilty.
The problem is the law is the law. And jurors are bound to obey the law. (though I am also comfortable with jury nullification in some cases)
If they believed she didn't have the mens rea due to insanity to commit the crime, then they should have voted not guilty.
But it doesn't mean she goes free, probably will be committed for a long long time.

From my quick reading she didn't seem to be mentally stable before the killings and so it seems 'Not guilty' was the appropriate judgement.
The lone juror seemed not to be focussed on doing his duties as a juror or wanted to nullify the jury.
Again, this is based on a quick reading of the facts.

They’d never win in any free and fair election.
That’s why they have to suppress votes every election. If they don’t cheat they’ll have nothing.
